I have watched TAR since the beginning. It is my favorite reality show. I prefer when the teams are in urban areas rather than rural areas. I surf the 'net looking up the places they visit.

A pet peeve of mine is the lack of facts checking on tv shows. I'm watching season two of "Versailles". NO SPOILERS Someone gives the King a demon mask. The person tells the King it's from Java. A problem I have with watching things online I often have to pause so I can google something that is on the show. ;-)))

Anyone into dendrology? I'm watching season two of "Versailles". Philippe the gay brother of Louis XIV (pretending to be Louis because he is off to war) is showing the Sultan of Bijapur around the grounds of Versailles. They were walking through a grove of trees. Philippe was telling him that they were different trees each that would have blooms of one color of the rainbow. Anyone know if such a thing is possible?

Henry seems like a nice, laid back kind of guy. But Evan was bitchy several times during the race. He could do better. Maybe go back to Hong Kong and find that taxi driver also named Henry ;-)))

Although "The Amazing Race" is my favorite reality show I hate the Travelocity gnome. Thus I would rather watch the show the next day on CBS All Access without commercials rather than watch the show "live" and have to endure the Travelocity gnome commercials!

I did notice to my delight there were some Belami models there. But I'm too cheap to use it.

When I was a boy I loved "Lost In Space" but fate conspired against me watching it. We lived in the country. We got only two channels. NBC and ABC/CBS. The latter showed some programs from each network. But we only had one tv set and my parents did not want to watch it. Later that combo channel decided to air "Perry Mason" reruns instead of "Lost In Space". They moved it to Saturday afternoon. But then had I chores. Once in a great while I got to watch an episode. I even wrote a fan letter and got a picture of the cast back. But over the years I got to see all the episodes; in the Summer time I spent at my paternal grandmother's.

Last season he had a girlfriend; they were sexually active. Now in the third season her absence was explained by saying she is in Haiti. Hawk has met a gay young man named Caleb whose father is the minister of a fundamentalist church. Hawk and Caleb are sexually active. Hawk said that he had never been with a guy before. Caleb said that he has fooled around with a guy in the church but it was all secret. In one scene Hawk and Caleb are in a gay night club and there sitting at a table is the guy from the church. It was after that that Caleb's father went to see Hawk's father. Hawk's father was unaware of the relationship but has no problem with it. Unlike Hawk's father Caleb's father is none too happy about it.

I've been watching the show since May of last year. There is a gay character Jack. He's @20yo. Since I've been watching he's had several boyfriends. Currently he's seeing a professional rugby player who was in the closet. But he just came out. The show is now dealing with the aftermath.
