  1. I guess it is a list of the oldest restaurants that are still running, right? Surely Montana had some restaurants in the 19th century?
  2. If your card is free (there are many free cards, including one at Anex) why would you or they cancel it? Keep it, even if you don’t do t use it much.
  3. I would recommend to get an Amex. That is my own experience only, and maybe people will disagree but : they have never denied me a single transaction online or otherwise, unlike other banks who freak out and think someone must be doing fraud whenever I buy something slightly unusual.
  4. New questions: 1 - is it normal for grindr guys to give hickeys in the heat of the moment? 2 - how do you hide a hickey from your husband?
  5. Sorry I am not much help on this, I couldn’t tell you, maybe? But I am not trying to contact them or even see them, my filter excludes them from my main screen.
  6. Nope. I can only see your reply without the quote.
  7. ????? Edit: Oh I guess you are replying to someone I blocked months and months ago and I can’t see their contributions? Well I am glad to see they haven’t changed and still reply even though they must know that I can’t see their posts
  8. I am fully reconciled with Grinder today! I’ll let you guess why. That ATM emoji works.
  9. You don’t. It is not allowed. You have to go to another site. One of them is called www.daddyreviews.com and has a whole set of procedures to avoid issues typically associated with reviews.
  10. I don’t care about proving it in court any more. Haven’t you read this thread? Whatever we all say or whatever paper evidence we bring seems irrelevant, jurors can just claim to read our minds and say our intent was prostitution and lock us up, so why fucking bother?
  11. I am reading some profiles and a few people are openly saying “I use block if I decide you are not for me, it frees up screen space on my Grindr app for other people, don’t be offended”. So I think quite a few frequent users have simply taken the habit of blocking anyone they are not going to go for, simply to make room for other people, which they would orherwise never see all the way at the bottom of the list. Especially in Manhattan, where the number of people is incredibly large. That might just be it.
  12. Fair enough, see my comments above, then, where I claim shame saved some lives, but I acknowledge that maybe death by HIV was preferable to being manipulated.
  13. Can I do another massive shout out for Victor , who was perfect today, and sorted me out in just exactly the right way, just when I needed it. Thank you @VictorPowers , you are a doll.
  14. Sorry are you saying that shame does NOT change people’s behaviour?
  15. People don’t seem to be like that abroad, in Brasil or in the Philippines, they contact me through grindr only if they are actually interested. And if it turns out they are not, they say so politely. I haven’t been blocked before, or at least, not that I have noticed. Maybe they are more desperate for money, that is the difference.
  16. Is it ok if I am an asshole to them, waste their time, and do it to them, then? You guys seem jaded, so you can’t complain if I do it right?
  17. I agree, I often works like this, afterwards, if they have nothing else to do. But it looks like the OP wanted to spend time to know them before the act.
  18. Why bother talking to me in the first place? My stats are very clear. They started the convo, it is not as if I ever pester anyone, I am just answering their questions. Jeez.
  19. Hmm, could be but seems unlikely that they all 3 would block rather than just stop answering.
  20. But why does the chat history disappear? Does that happen when they block you?
  21. I am new to Grindr, only used it abroad and in other languages, and briefly. Maybe you guys can enlighten me about what happens in English or when you are physically located in the US. 3 times in 2 days, a conversation with a guy disappeared completely from my list of conversations. We were getting along fine, so I am assuming that it is not because the guys on the other side blocked me. On the first one, I didn’t mention any “money” but it is possible the other guy did. He certainly had mentioned my “atm” emoji. The thread simply disappeared. No trace of it. On the second instance, with a different guy, I wrote the following sentence “if you don’t have a place I will get us a day hotel and don’t worry I’ll pay for it. “ immediately the convo thread disappeared. On the third guy he wrote “sugar daddy?” and I replied “I can be for a really cute guy, please send face pics” then we talked about where and when for a couple of sentences and the thread disappeared. It is possible, but I’ll never know, that the other guy wrote something about the amount he expected. I don’t even know how to contact these guys again, I don’t have a handle or anything. So question 1: are you guys aware of an auto-convo-delete system in grinder if there is suspicion? Semi-automated? Based on the words “pay” or “money” or “how much”? Question 2: does that also blocks 2 people from finding each other? Question 3 if 2 is ‘no’: how do I find a guy on grindr that I talked to before, but I don’t have his handle because the convo doesn’t appear anywhere. Thanks!
  22. No that is not unusual to want to talk, but that is “on the clock”, by default.
  23. Hey Gman, i am not sure if your area has decently priced hotels, but if you both can’t host, and are into each other, wouldn’t you pay for a room in a cheap hotel? I mean a hotel room is way cheaper than an escort, I definetly would pay it, for what looks like a really good fuck.
  24. We also have colored text. (Here I assume no users are reading on a monochrome screen :-))
  25. Yes verbal contracts exists. And they don’t include everyone’s name. Every time you buy a coffee at Starbucks you enter a sales contract of goods (coffee) and services (making it right for you). These rarely get disputed in court, because they are not important enough, but when they are disputed, they are still enforceable. It is not what lawyers recommend though, for obvious reasons.
