Every situation is different. Anything can happen. The takeaway for me... when things begin with dishonesty, favorable experiences are less likely.

http://m.pnas.org/content/early/2017/07/18/1706541114.full A recent study suggests that happiness can be derived from free time to do what you like. And you can secure that by spending money getting others to do time-consuming chores. In other words, we're more likely to derive happiness by hiring a housekeeper than buying a _____________________. Summary: Despite rising incomes, people around the world are feeling increasingly pressed for time, undermining well-being. We show that the time famine of modern life can be reduced by using money to buy time. Surveys of large, diverse samples from four countries reveal that spending money on time-saving services is linked to greater life satisfaction. To establish causality, we show that working adults report greater happiness after spending money on a time-saving purchase than on a material purchase. This research reveals a previously unexamined route from wealth to well-being: spending money to buy free time.

Im curious about some. Dont necessarily recall their names. For example, I hired a hot young guy from craigslist in the 90s. He was also starting a career in the service trades. Saw him at least half-dozen times. He'd probably be a hell of a hot guy in his 40s now. Dont remember his name, probably never knew his real name. I hope, as this thread builds, people respect the privacy of ex-escorts who've moved to other lifestyles. Ive stumbled across info regarding a few of my favorites from the past. I wouldnt share that.

Thats why, after starting out stupidly, I sent the recent fake away. With encouragement to investigate these forums and daddys reviews.

I recently permitted things to go too far with a rentguy using a fake pic. I regret not sending him away upon first sight. As it was, 5 minutes after starting, there were ample red flags, and I sent him away, after retrieving 75% of the fee he'd demanded upfront. His attitude suggested absolutely no regret or excuses about using a fake pic. He felt justified on the basis of discretion. In hindsight, that attitude sticks in my craw. I wont let it happen again.

I think that also explains why many a post on these forums appears to be an unfinished thought.....

I met a really nice, very friendly escort years ago.... friendly enough that we hung out off the clock during his visit to SF; he found himself with a lot of free time due to cancellations, flakes, etc. His escort's viewpoint: San Francisco is so gay-accepting, and the Bay Area is soooo tolerant, people have become very self indulgent in getting exactly what they want. "This may be the only place on earth," he opined "where a guy may ask an escort ten to fifteen screening questions, and then say 'oh, your right nipple is pierced. I'm looking for a guy whose left nipple is pierced,'" and decline to set an appointment. Exaggerated and dramatic, to be sure, but I believe its a fair representation of SF Bay attitudes.

Seen today in a suburban parking lot. Nice new Tesla. I'm guessing their intent was a license plate conveying Giacomo. JAK A MOE caused me to burst out laughing..... Then again, one never knows.......

Nah... I think that ones a mute point

I just want to share my incredible good fortune on Adam4Adam I've been communicating with the hottest guy. He sends me frequent messages.... He's so hot, the man of my dreams, one day he's a muscle stud, the next day he's a humungously hung hunk. He changes his appearance frequently so that I may indulge all of my desires. Sometimes we play a little online teasing game, and he uses a different name. But always, within few hours, he reveals his real name: Suspended User. What a guy! Thanks A4A!

Rejection is a subjective term. Should an escort want to know why potential clients view his ad but decline to contact? Good to know if he's hurting for business, but if he's content with current demand, why would he care? Should an escort want to know, after some initial communications, why a potential client chose not to follow through and schedule? I'd expect he'd want to know THAT it wasn't going to happen, simply to manage his schedule and not waste time. But knowing WHY it isn't happening... this is an industry that attracts a disproportionate share of flakes, insecurities, fetishists, and game-players.... why would an escort care WHY someone chose to decline their services. Possible exception... hes getting wayyy too many rejections after spending time planning and communicating with potential clients, and wants to determine if a change in methods could help.

Sometimes ya cant win The smartass will reply "Who's Frank?" or "Frank? I thought you were _______________________"
-
"To be honest with you....." "Honestly" Intended for emphasis. Or to convey that someone's going to be frank, speak candidly..... I worked with a woman who, when people prefaced a comment with "Well, to be honest with you....." She'd interject, "aren't you always?" So, while I rarely do it... when someone prefaces a comment or opinion with, "well, to tell you the truth....." I'm often tempted to ask "don't you always?" or "when aren't you telling me the truth?"

Not so easy to find on west coast. Lotsa delicious soft round rolls with holes. Sun dried tomato, or blueberry, or banana nut. Those may all be tasty for some. But they ain't bagels in my book.

I have no experience with the cars Make certain you consider all elements of charging. Example: CA law about condo HOAs and electric vehicle charging. Condos with common garages/parking can prohibit charging the vehicle on common power. But, condos must let an owner install their own, separately metered, charging station at their space or in their garage. That would mean pulling new electrical service, a new meter, etc. Costly! People mistakenly think they can just drive home and plug into the outlet in the garage. Your neighbors and fellow association members dont want to share in the cost of your car. If you own a free-standing home... this was irrelevant for you. Sorry

Bagels? Are there bagels?

We all see the world differently I'm of the opinion that social media has enhanced impressionability. That its lowered the common sense/skepticism that, in moderation, serves decision-making well. Things fly by on screens, people see them, believe them, make ill-informed decisions more than ever in human history. Proof resides here:

There's an old tale, told in many versions.... one of those life lessons you hear growing up. There's this house painter in town. He makes the rounds, gets hired to paint the house, takes the homeowner's money, and does a horrible job. Someone asks him, "aren't you worried that not one of those people will ever hire you again?" And he replies "There are 10,000 homes in this town. I only need to paint each one once."
