How old was the Whirlpool when you moved in? My whirlpool is fine at 20 years The only thing I can add for recommendations is that I personally choose to avoid the brands that are made with a lot of plastic. Im interested in replacing mine with european drawer style dishwashers, but wont do it because when I see in showroom, everything inside appears to be flimsy plastic.

I wonder about the motivation for the original question. Why ask if overweight people should clarify expectations? Dont all clients have some obligation to clarify expectations? Do fat people bear an extra duty? Should shy-and-withdrawn people clarify their expectations? Should very tall or very short people? People with prosthetic limbs? Someone whose skin is a different shade than the rentguy? Do I have an obligation to tell a rentguy "hey, the cat-killed-by-curiosity has nothing on me; I expect you listen to a never-ending stream of inane questions while you massage me......?"

Who's your favorite athlete? (for real, not sexually)

I have a sentimental soft spot for Alex Smith. Always felt he got a raw deal by the circumstances of his benching after injury.... and would like to see the underdog win a superbowl. Genuine good person, he was even out with local citizens searching for a missing local teen. http://kctv.images.worldnow.com/images/15308633_G.jpg Also like Brandon Crawford, who seems to have his head on straight. From pictures of him as a child attending SF Giants games, to seeing him run around on the field chasing his toddler daughter while other players were in clubhouse spraying champagne, and his off season baseball camp for local youth. http://ww4.hdnux.com/photos/45/05/16/9720759/4/rawImage.png -
My pot-smoking years are long behind me. I doubt I'd indulge, even if presented with the legal opportunity. I suspect many advocates haven't considered all aspects. Driving stoned, for example. Theres a detection progression for alcohol from breathalyzer to blood test. Is there a non invasive test for pot? Employers have rights and responsibilites if employees show up hungover... what if they're wrecked from partying? Nipping from a bottle kept hidden in your desk is considered wrong nowadays - would a few coworkers sharing a joint during break be equally wrong? Legalization, regulation, and taxation probably makes sense. Even if marijuana smoke is as harmful as tobacco, or if one accepts an argument that effects of nicotine and addiction are traded for whatever altering properties of marijuana..... its absurd that we permit booze and cigarettes but not pot. No reasonable person could make a science-based argument that weed is worse. Somewhere buried in my attic is a box of paraphernalia. Bongs, pipes, smoking tubes and toys, rolling machines, even a hookah. Maybe they'll become some kind of cool vintage collectible, and I'll be on the new PBS series ANTIQUE HEAD SHOPPE

My willingness to lend stuff depends on a lot of factors. If I was traveling regularly and still using the LV luggage, I probably wouldn't do it. If it's in pristine condition, and I'd be annoyed if it came back damaged, I wouldn't do it. But if I'd slowed my travels significantly, and there was nothing truly special about the luggage, I'd let someone use it. I've lent luggage. Lent some nice entertaining supplies like sterling or wedgewood. I confess I warned the borrower that if the dishes came back broken, I expected replacements. I've lent outerwear and sweaters. But refused to lend work suits and my tux. An escort borrowed a shirt when he had nothing to wear to a nice restaurant. I've let friends drive my car while I'm in it... but I'd probably refuse to let most take it for any length of time. And I probably wouldn't let someone use my home while I was away. There's no right or wrong standard.... do what makes you feel comfortable, and don't convince yourself to feel guilty about doing what's right for you

Does anyone know anything about this masseur? He doesn't appear to advertise a working name. http://sfbay.backpage.com/MenSeekMen/quality-body-touch-801-368-7679/85924367 http://images5.backpage.com/imager/u/large/510310957/530bc96b7085d52a23d6fa3d7d290a67.png Im semi-interested after texting last night - he says he's currently in my area, planning to move here. Hate proceeding without reviews or more info.... it would be nice to have someone local to my suburban area. http://gayresumes.com/gay-images/42/large/19614192-4.jpg

masseur working local suburbs who was great, gave me dates for follow up appointments, then stopped advertising, and refuses texts and calls. Assume he quit the biz

It isn't. But then, if we really think about it, very little of whats posted online will change personal beliefs and/or attitudes of people who already hold the opposing view.

Yup. Both of 'em

I read posts in several different threads that some people have no trouble finding rentguys on Grindr and other apps. I've tried, with zero luck. Haven't even IDd anyone, yet alone reached arrangement. Grindr wont allow word generous. Cant use dollar signs. Even my attempt to use a smiley emoji with little $ $ sunglasses was blocked. What are others doing to ID and hire on the apps?

Not in this century.

Ive been asking about the vaccine for awhile. My insurer, like most, cover it at age 60. Im 18 months shy of 60. Insurers dont always follow FDA age recommendations... they consider their own internal actuarial data. My physician assures me the benefit of waiting is that the new, better vaccine will be available by the time I'm eligible. If unsure whether you had (or were exposed to) chicken pox..... your doctor can order titers to determine presence of antibodies. It wouldnt hurt to be vaccinated regardless. Best advice about shingles.... if you think youre breaking out in shingles... get to the doctor quickly, dont wait until its full blown. The faster you start anti-virals, the lesser the severity and the shorter the duration of the outbreak, and the lesser the post-herpetic neuralgia.

I do exactly that. Eerily so.... even the behavior to delay watching by 20 minutes per hour with other tasks, so that I can FF. As a result, DVRs have had the unexpected result of having a neater and cleaner home, and better maintained garden.

Ive seen them for $40 in places like Big Lots. I know the founder/owner got sued for some advertising practice.... although it seemed like a ticky-tack charge. I dont know about "mypillow" but I generally try to buy "As Seen on TV" at Bed Bath & Beyond or on Amazon due to easy returns.

Not always 100% straightforward. When I lived in Louisville, (early 90s,) home of then Kentucky Fried Chicken, they delivered within the city. One of the few things Ah lahked about livin' in Lewa Vulcan Ducky was orderin' up a bucket o' chicken, add extra biskits, for delivery. Everywhere else... prefered Popeyes.

Enjoy. Perhaps the irradiated potatoes will help you survive the apocalypse, or add a fabulous glow to your grave.

Are you certain that they're outspoken? Theres a Chik Fil-A down the road from me. And I dont patronize it. I tend not to patronize any organization that exclaims their religious views. That said, my understanding is that CFA simply lets it be known that theyre religious, but theyre not actively foisting their values on employees or the community. That they've never taken an openly anti-gay stance. I dont want to defend them. I dont/wont go there. I just want to learn for sake of accuracy.

None. 1992. Obese, unemployed, I realized that 80% of my diet was fast food. So I swore off anything with a drive thru. I have not had McDs, BK, Wendys, Hardees, Arbys, Hardees, Popeyes, KFC, Jack in the Box, White Castle, Long John Silvers, Taco Bell in 25 years. I tried In & Out once after moving to CA in 90s.... didnt like it anyway. Its become fetish-like..... I refuse to eat at those places. I have a theory that drive thru windows are one enabling element for compulsive overeaters. To try to respond in the spirit of the OP... what I miss most is Popeyes biscuits, White Castle, and something called a Chilito, created at a Mexican fast food chain called Zantigos, (served also at Taco Bell when they bought Zantigo). Dont know if it still exists, but I miss Naugles in St. Louis.

I can only recall cancelling one time. I made an appointment with a guy in SF.. just one hour... Although I should gave known better, I underestimated delays associated with a major road closure (SFBay Bridge was being rebuilt) I allowed 2+ hours for what would routinely be 40 minutes. At 90+ minutes, I hadn't even progressed 33% of the distance. So I called and cancelled. He sounded like I'd woken him and he was glad to go back to sleep. Never occurred to me to offer a cancellation fee, and he didnt ask. Saw him his next visit to SF, reminded him of the prior cancel and apologized again, and he said "don't worry about it."

Do you reveal your race to your masseurs/escorts?
LaffingBear replied to Drained Empty's topic in The Lounge
I have never seen "no rice or spice" I have heard the term "rice queen" and I have seen "no fems or fats" Not that it matters... I didnt grow up in Bay Area. I arrived in my early 30s. I became a sensible, rational adult here. Not disputing... just didnt know -

Learned something. Never occurred to me that Asian discrimination was prevalent in the gay community. Maybe because I became an adult in the SF Bay Area. Asians were part of my crowd when I used to hang out in bars. I've dated and been attracted to some. Last guy I hired was Asian. -

At the risk of making some form of regional-prejudicial assumption...... where are you located? I can't imagine anyone feeling the need to do that. Not when hiring, or most other situations. But Im on the west coast, and maybe views are different elsewhere. And, no, I dont disclose my race when hiring. Or my height, or religion, or eye color.
