I like Angie with her doctor and am not sad to see Marion go. LOVE Ormwood this season. I've always found the actor attractive, but this season... hubba hubba!

Tomorrow is the season finale of the show only my sister and I watch. I think I have an idea what the inevitable shocking reveal/cliffhanger will be.

Any guesses on how the season will end?

Just took a devil's food cake out of my ez-bake (toaster) oven. I added 5 dollops of crunchy peanut butter to the mix before I stirred it all up and the slight hint of it in the final product is yummy. I still mix everything directly in the pie tin… For the devil's food cake and the golden cake I use 1/3 of the mix – I eyeball it – and 1/3 of the water and oil recommended, plus one of the three eggs recommended, and it all comes out wonderfully, with nothing to wash but a spoon.

My feeling is that if this was just a show that was filmed in the normal way it would've been interesting and very good but nothing to make a HUGE deal about. However, knowing how it was made made it seem so much more impressive, although in that respect, you could say it was basically just a gimmick, though one that was extraordinarily well done.

Giannis Antetokounmpo became the first player in NBA history to have 35 points, 17 rebounds and 20 assists in a game Thursday night. Antetokounmpo helped the Bucks shoot 51.6% from 3-point range. The Bucks are coming off a win Tuesday against Phoenix in which they shot 68.9% from the field, the highest in an NBA game since 1998, and 58.6% from 3-point range. His 20 assists were also a career high. -
The Reds scored 14 in Monday's win. They have lost 1-0 three times in a row since. That's baseball, Suzyn!

You missed my sarcasm. I meant that going forward from today I would imagine the prices of everything they sell will be getting so much lower.

You're off by 974. (Yes, it's season 1974 and Mariska looks damn good, considering) And Grey's still has 2 full-time original cast members and Meredith Grey is in 7-9 episodes per season these days.

Well, now that said goods will be selling at such bargain prices...

People coming or going to the UBS arena, possibly. If that's the case, it should be open later than 6PM.

I saw a 5 or 10 second ad for it whilst surfing youtube videos the other night.

ABC on Thursday revealed the fates of all but one of its scripted series. The network has renewed 9-1-1 (Season 9), Grey’s Anatomy (Season 22), The Rookie(Season 8), Shifting Gears (Season 2) and Will Trent (Season 4). They all will join previously renewed fan-favorites Abbott Elementary (Season 5) and High Potential (Season 2), and the forthcoming 9-1-1: Nashville (starring Chris O’Donnell), on ABC’s 2025-26 primetime schedule. That leaves just one bubble show: Doctor Odyssey. The Joshua Jackson drama has been averaging 4.9 million weekly viewers, demonstrating just 77% retention out of 9-1-1 — only slightly better than what Grey’s did in the 9 pm time slot last season. Sources tell TVLine that ABC remains engaged in creative conversations about a potential Season 2, and its fate will be decided at a later time.

Bear market! Recession has it begun.
samhexum replied to Kcdave's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
Just rode up in the elevator with my neighbor who told me that at the meeting I did not attend last week they announced that our maintenance will be going up 14% next month. That is in addition to the 5% it went up in June and the 5% it went up in January, so 24% in 11 months. And two assessments along the way, one of which was supposed to be ending soon, but according to that neighbor will not be ending after all. I'm so glad that all those new charges they told us about at last year's meeting, which were supposed to take care of our financial problems, apparently did not do that. So that's about another $165 a month I will be paying, which is absolutely no problem at all since my vast financial empire is booming at the moment thanks to the brilliant tariff strategy which is seeing the stock market plummet today like it hasn't in years. Well, at least I can look forward to my disability check being slashed in the future (if the collapsing SSA is able to get it out in time, that is). WHAT A GREAT TIME TO BE POOR! -
American Dad! — which has spent the past decade airing new episodes on TBS — will return to its original home as part of Fox’s Animation Domination lineup. But that’s not the biggest news: Fox has renewed The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy and Dad! for a whopping four seasons each. Each of those seasons will consist of 15 half-hours — meaning, all four shows have been picked up for an additional 60 episodes. “This new deal celebrates the eternal popularity of these iconic comedies, as well as the enduring, prolific relationship we continue to enjoy with our friends at 20th Television Animation and the brilliant creators – that goes double for Seth this time around — and incredible voices behind these contemporary classics,” Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network, said in a statement Wednesday. American Dad! made its debut on Fox in February 2005, where it aired for nearly a decade before making the jump to basic cable in October 2014. It was the last scripted original to air on TBS; its most recent two-season renewal was handed out by the previous regime ahead of the Warner Bros. Discovery merger in 2022, and its Season 19 finale aired March 24. The unprecedented renewal deal will take The Simpsons through Season 40, Bob’s Burgers through Season 19, Family Guy through Season 27 and American Dad! through Season 23. That guarantees that each show will remain on Fox’s lineup through the 2028-29 broadcast season.

God no! I saw one of the Batman movies on cable but I don't remember if it was the one with George Clooney or the one with Adam West and Lee Merriwether (it made quite an impression on me). The last Tom Cruise movie I saw was Risky Business.
