For me (67) the answer is to regularly do exercises for the core (I'm talking 20min every other day) - not just abs, but exercises that encompass your front, sides, and back. If I don't do them then I start to slump and then back issues arise. I've never used a posture corrector but my feeling is that they are a temporary fix and don't really address the underlying issue of weakening core muscles.

Thanks Redwine56! Would like to visit both but I will only have a few hours of available time to myself. Definitely hoping for some help on which masseur. I've read all of this thread and even some of the original NYC Spa thread before it disappeared, and have found it very difficult to follow who is who and where they are.

I'm going to be in NYC in 2 weeks and hope to visit a mens spa on Saturday afternoon for a massage. Will be on the Upper East Side so easy access to 27 Spa and Utopia via the Green Line. Looking first of all for a really good massage. Add in some sensual elements, an HE, and a table shower to end it would be perfect. My ideal masseur would be average height with a smooth, muscular build (or anything close to that:)). Any recommendations for a masseur at either establishment would be greatly appreciated! My suggestion is to go to Home Depot and buy the most expensive gel knee pads they have (about $20!). While I have not used them for giving head I can definitely recommend them for comfort while kneeling.

Prefer buying in a store. I feel I have to try everything on to make sure it fits. Several times have been fooled - tried one on that fit perfect and grabbed a couple more, same size, only to find out when I got home that the ones I didn't try on were too big or too small or just fit irregularly. Could be mis-labeling or shoddy workmanship or both.

Maybe it's not about being nude in front of others, but the fear of getting an erection in front of them. I certainly felt that way when I was young and would get an erection from just a fleeting glance or almost any kind of stimulus. I went to a small high school in the 60's and we all showered together in a communal shower room after gym class. "Jo-jo The Talking Crow" - I loved that book. The boy finds a baby crow raises it, it grows up and builds a nest and starts to take anything shiny from the family and put it in his nest without them knowing - a mystery that the boy solves (maybe he was blamed for the disappearances - can't remember!). A little older - Rachel Carson's "The Sea Around Us" - I was totally captivated by the photos, one series of which were photographed in my home town, which led me to actually read about what I was seeing.
