If you have the American Express Platinum card, you can use the two groups they have on their travel website, "Hotel Collection" and "Fine Hotels & Resorts". Once you filter with those two groups, the reservation goes through American Express, and my experience is that any other hotels on their site that is not in one of those groups, they do use Expedia Travel. If I do not use one from those groups, I then go to Hotels.com to find a hotel and then I check the hotel website and almost always book directly through them.

I had a reasonable retirement planned and then forces out of my control threw everything upside down! I am now officially retired, but I never planned to be in my current situation when I began my retirement. Last year, I began drawing Social Security since I was at full retirement age and thankfully my amount is a higher tier as I had an above average income for most of my career. The thing that threw everything out of whack was me being laid off twice last year. So here I am beginning retirement and wanting to work just to keep me and my mind active, but can not find parttime work that will keep my weekends free so I can see my grandchildren, as one of them usually spends the entire weekend with me. It would kill us if we could not spend the weekend together. So I guess my two cents is that regardless of your retirement plans there are too many outside forces that can throw you for a loop.

Anytime I need to deal with a company, I have found it was always best to reach them directly through their website. Be careful with trying to google a company to get their contact information as I have seen news reports about people doing that and not realizing they did not select the correct info on their google searchj. Good luck as I too am having a difficult time following your situation.

I have just purchased a VPN called Surf Shark and this VPN has brought CrowdSec into blocking rentmen for me too. I changed my location to a different country and CrowdSec still is blocking. It looks like the only way to see rentmen is to turn the VPH off. I did ask the Shurf Shark online chat if I can add a site to a whitelist and they do have a bypass feature, however, I did find out that CrowdSec is something separate from my VPN. I have read others say they can read the review texts by switching countries on their VPN, what country are you using to view the rentmen reviews?

About 10 years ago someone posted in the Hooboy site that they don't pay them just for the sex, they pay them to leave. I have a regular guy that I see and I have to tell him it is my bed time and he needs to leave, otherwise he would stay much longer. Otherwise, he is awesome!

I personally do not think it is safe to leave USA in this political climate. I would love to go to Montreal and was planning it for 2026, but I have decided that it might not be the best time to travel to a country that is a declared new economic enemy. I also do not want to relinquish my cell phone and laptop for US customs to inspect when I return to the USA, as I have read stories of inspection and unnecessary intimidation to US citizens returning to America. There is enough in American to keep me entertained for several years.

Damn, that is a pair, I see why you liked them! Their rentmen profile currently has them in Perry Florida. That is a small town in the big bend area and not close to any city and I find that unusual. They have reviews dating back to 2021.
