What I wanted to let you know so that it might be useful is that there is now a replacement drug for Truvada with much less possible harm to kidneys and bone mass. The name of the drug is Descovy. My primary physician substituted one for the other. Moreover, if you were on the manufacturer's program where they pay your co-pay for Truvada, they will still pay it if you switch over to Descovy. I just thought you should know as you seemed worried about kidney and bone damage.
