Agree with Rafa and his request was totally reasonable. Part of being a world-class athlete in an individual sport is making sure you don't put the body through unnecessary risks, like exposing yourself to extreme heat. That's why marathon runners don't run in the middle of the day. Nole and Gael are highly conditioned athletes, but both were looking very sluggish and dehydrated on the court. It's unfair to both the players and spectators.

Some guys experience very minor side effects when they first start taking Truvada. But generally, it's a very well-tolerated drug. I've never experienced any side effects in the 2 years I've been taking it.

I would encourage you to get on the Truvada regimen, if you are sexually active and have concerns about contracting HIV. I personally think it's a game changer. If you are with a positive guy who takes his meds regularly and his viral load is undetectable, there is very little chance of getting HIV if you bareback. In fact, these are the least likely men to pass on HIV to another man. Of course, you can still catch everything else, like syphilis, so condoms are still a good idea if you have several partners.

I've been with my partner for over 25 years and we've been married for three years. When we met, we were both in our early forties, so neither of us started the relationship with an adolescent libido.

12 or 15 years into our relationship, sex had become routine and less and less frequent. We were lounging in bed one Sunday afternoon and he told me he wanted me to fist him. I thought "Wow!!" and said Ok. That really woke our sex lives up. We have sex once or twice a week, and it has remained fresh and interesting.

I also hire and have a small circle of FBs that gives me additional variety. Recently, I hire more and see the FBS less. Hiring is so much easier to fit into my life.

There are both poz clients and poz hookers. I've seen many poz clients because of the stigma that @youngboldone is spreading. It's unfortunate and unfair. Just because one is poz does not mean they are any less deserving of intimacy and at the end of the day hopefully love.

Wow. I wish I could retract the defence of you I mounted in this thread.

Did you read any of the articles that @KennF linked to? In terms of HIV transmission it’s safer to have sex with a poz person who is on meds and undetectable than with somebody who thinks they are negative (but could well be wrong). The guys who think they are negative “could potentially infect you with a fatal disease.” Moreover you seem to assume that all clients are HIV negative and/or care about the escort’s HIV status, if you think poz escorts should not be in the business. On both counts you are incorrect.

Please go and educate yourself instead of spreading such stigmatising nonsense.

I didn't like bottoming for many years because I didn't know how to prepare for it. Of course, the guys in porn made it look so easy.

Changing my diet (fish, light carbs & veggies only) and practicing with large dildos have made the biggest difference. So for me, it was a lifestyle change.

SuenosAmor got a reaction from LADoug1 in If you've tried therapy, was it worth the $$$?
Yes, I would highly recommend it. I'm fortunate enough to have a service in my area specifically for the LGBTQ community. They offer a sliding scale for services so they try to accommodate everyone. For me, it helped improve my self-awareness (i.e. how much actions and behaviors affect others, my relationships), addressed past issues of sexual abuse, and gave me strategies for dealing with stress and depression. After a year of therapy, I started meditating and changed my diet, both of which improved my sex life. Therapy isn't magic, but it gets you to start looking at yourself in a different way, which is the catalyst for change.

For me bottoming is all about the connection. There are tops who act like they are special and doing you (the bottom) a favor. I am all about making love. I have had hired tops who left me cold and other who were incredible. The common denominator for those who are incredible is that they go slowly, and they seem to be genuinely interested in how I am feeling.

Another thing is how often I am topped by the gentleman. If he is good, he gets better with each visit.

I see a gentleman about every two months when I visit his town on business. At first the bottoming was okay, but he was very sexy. Bottoming hurt. Over the last 3 years we have come to know each other personally. I know what he enjoys and he knows what I enjoy. When we get together, all I can think about is making him happy, so I do those things. And he seems to feel the same way about me. Now bottoming for him is incredible!
