Agree Energy and Grandee are two of the worst choices in NYC.  In my experiences they are both dirty, short you on time, tips are solicited, and one handed (other hand texting) is more common than not.  Alvin consistently delivers a solid massage, is respectful and earns his tips.

Yes, this has happened to me a lot as well.  I understand that someone might not be available, but I especially don't understand guys logging onto a website so their ads indicate they are "available now" and then they don't take the time to respond to inquiries.   I swear I had better luck in the Craigslist days, when someone would post an ad, I'd send an email, they'd reply within short order, and then if we agreed on terms we would have an appointment scheduled for anywhere from a half hour to a few hours later.  I certainly don't mind scheduling in advance, either, but one does have to wonder why some guys simply don't reply to polite, to the point inquiries.

I am going through a period of contacting masseurs for appointments based on their ads and simply getting no response at all. I simply state my name, the ad I’m responding to, the date, time range, and type of massage I’m looking for (based on options in the ad). I usually include that I am fully vaxxed. And I’m getting just nothing back.  This is unusual for me and I’m wondering about it.  If the provider is not interested for any reason, what is so hard about responding with something like  “Thank you for your interest but I’m not available.” It’s doesn’t seem like good business to not respond at all. Grand Spa - cheapest, smallest, but your everyday men are here. Very cruisy. Easy to play or just watch. 
Century- most attractive, most cruisy, most action, also, MOST attitude. 
Spa Palace - usually low key, but you will get lucky if you're patient. I'd say the men are more attractive the Grand here, but it's never really a lot of options, so you'll just have to deal with what you get
Midtowne - better for sex, play, watching, the spa portion is not the main attraction 
Flex - I don't know that I've ever been there when their equipment works, usually just sex and play, with a pool outside 

Wi spa always has a nice selection of hot guys. Century Day and Night Spa is the most cruisy but also the most attitude. King Spa has a more varied mix but has some hot Russians. Wilshire Spa is dingy and not that popular but I've played with a few surprisingly hot guys there.
