There are several STIs that transmit very easily via unprotected oral sex and are generally asymptomatic. A couple even can establish colonies in the throat such that they don't show up on standard urine or blood tests. That's why it's risky, especially with very high-risk populations like men-who-have-sex-with-men and escorts, to have unprotected oral sex. The risk grows further now that there are highly resistant strains in the wild for these easily transmitted STIs.

The problem I would have is in not disclosing that in advance. Theoretically I could decide that my risk tolerance is very low and I’m only comfortable sitting across the room while someone J/O’s. If someone’s preferences differ significantly from the norm (granted that’s subjective) I would appreciate a heads-up in a profile along the lines of “ask me about my limits” to start a dialogue and make everyone happy.
