My 10th grade PE teacher gave us instructions on how to shower (and showers were mandatory after PE in those days) - make sure to get the neck, pits and crotch. He occasionally showered with us and it was no big deal. FWIW, 50 years later, when someone from the community FB group asks about best/favorite teachers, he is always on the list. I was extremely unathletic in my youth (much to my mother's chagrin) and I only took PE because it was a required class. The showers were the only part of PE that I liked.

Several years ago I had a Grindr hookup in southern BC. I was smart enough to know you don't lie to border guards. I've had good luck with the Gillette Body Razor. I use it in the shower with everything soaped up and slick. If it's been a while it will take a few passes to get to smooth. Never had a nick.

Ad is gone. he sent me an unsolicited "hi" on Thursday via RM messenger. I responded with a "hey, what's up" and he came back with "nothing hby". At which point it felt like a stupid Grindr conversation and I lost interest. If the rate was reasonable I would've been interested in meeting.

When I'm meeting someone for the first time I carry the absolute minimum. Cash for fee & tip, car key, phone only if I need to communicate with them, maybe glasses (sun & reading - both cheap). If I'm hosting somebody new everything important is hidden.

I think the key is to just be upfront in your ad "I cannot host". FWIW Back in the days before I could host (which I prefer now) and neither could the provider, I would never assume it was the provider's responsibility to secure a room - I took care of it - and this was way before Dayuse.
