  1. Actually I’m kvetching an awful lot. There have been copious tears-however I’m going to blame the prednisone for affecting my emotions. As proof of this, I offer the fact that I was watching the situation comedy ‘2 Broke Girls’ on the American Airlines plane yesterday and was finding it hysterical.

    Oh No! Get well soon!!

  2. The closest theater to me playing CMBYN is in Austin TX, over 200 miles away. It’s not even playin in San Antonio, Texas’ third largest city. “I wonder when it will hit Netflix?” He pondered ruefully.

    Netflix next week ... 3/13 I think.

  3. Again, I’ve enjoyed most non-Chicago Uno’s Pizzerias except the ones at the airport.

I posted this awhile back. This trick may be a bit quicker than using the oven. Although if you want to crisp up the whole pizza, an oven would be better.

When you've refrigerated the pizza overnight, this is a really good trick. It works best with thin crust pizza, but I’d try it with deep dish too. Also when I’ve frozen the pizza, I defrost it in the microwave before putting it on the stove, and it comes out 100x better than only using the microwave.

I've used the skillet method to reheat pizza. It works great!

  4. Hopefully he's using some of his earnings to invest in Real Estate. Or if he travels for work frequently he's monitizing his own residence. Hope it works out for him.

Then again maybe he's offering a bed, breakfast and me.

  5. See if one of your credit cards has no foreign transaction fees. I think most airline credit cards have this feature.

I know I have a United Milage plus credit card and a British Airways and they both don't charge foreign exchange fees. Again Credit Cards have the best possible exchange rates.

  6. Ask your bank that issues your ATM card the name of their corresponding bank in each country and try to use your ATM cards there to avoid surprise fees. If there are corresponding banks in each country you will need less emergency cash because there's no downside to withdrawing money as you need it. It's usually the best exchange rate you can get.

I still wouldn't go with any less than $1,000.00 emergency cash. As some have said here sometimes the US $ gets you a better deal.

btw, there are some great exchange rate app's available.
