  1. I don't know if there are any studies on it, but I'd like to see them add the childhood smallpox vax to that chart.
  2. Yikes, sorry to hear that. I know some people have reactions to "Daddy's little helper". I was more worried about have a raging boner that wouldn't quit (happened to a friend of mine), but didn't know about getting sick off of it. Since I had to take the subway to my massage, I took the pill at least a 1/2 hour prior, so hopefully anything like what you had might have shown up pretty early...dunno.
  3. Since DutchPR is now on Rentmasseur, I'm curious to know how that goes as a massage appointment.
  4. Well, ended up taking a whole pill cuz they are too small to cut in half (being the generic, not the standard blue pill) and I was worried about walking around NYC with a boner, LOL. Honestly, didn't really notice anything until I got stimulated during the session...and then the pill really kicked in. 😋
  5. Yea, I just saw a study that said a lot of the old studies saying one glass of wine (say) was actually good for you were wrong. Granted, it's just one study, but if you go by what they say, you should only have 5 large glasses of wine a week. I usually drink a half bottle a night...so I've got to cut back, or rather, I should according to this study.
  6. I wish there was a section just for those who just want to get off together without worrying about trying to get tokens. Or maybe an icon showing that the guy is a performer for tokens rather than just a guy looking to get off. When I get on, I'm not looking to make money (tho I have gotten tips on occasion which I profusely thank them for and say it isn't necessary), but I like to find guys who just want to get off together while other guys watch. Funny how I find guys who 'say' they are str8 and married but curious....maybe, but it's fun to think they might be.
  7. Wow, I was trying to remember what episode of X-files I missed.
  8. I just saw Foxcatcher this week about the Du Pont scandal and the two wrestling brothers. Tatum plays the younger one. Shows some skin, I think maybe his butt, but all the guys in the wrestling outfits is hot (yea, I've always had a thing for wrestlers...woof!). Good movie, too. Took me a while to figure out who was playing Du Pont, too. At any rate, Tatum's performance was ok since the character is pretty stoic and that's probably not that hard to play for an actor.
  9. Funny. Recognize 'Andy' from NYC? I sure do.
  10. I was going to ask about this again cuz I forgot that I already had, lol. I have a massage today and it's been forever since my last one. Going to take half a pill before I leave home
  11. I don't know this for sure, but from what I gather they are not allowing us to schedule our own 2nd appointments, they are supposed to contact us when it's time. I'm not too worried about it...yet...since I was told I'd be contacted in 3 to 4 weeks after the first. I think they did it this way to control getting the 2nd shot out when it's time (though it seems more labor intensive for them). I'm hoping that since more vaccines are getting released (the US supposedly has a big stockpile in Europe) we shouldn't have to much issue getting the second. I'm sure as soon as someone in the forums in NYC gets that call and posts about it here, there'll be lots more calmed nerves.
  12. Had a follow-up with my Dr today and he didn't mention MP until I brought it up. I wanted to let him know that I had the first vax and he said 'great!' and then asked if I was vaxed for small pox as a kid, to which I said yes. He then said I'm more likely very safe from this but to make sure I get the second dose.
  13. I did see one guy say in his ad that he had the first shot already, so he is being completely honest for sure.
  14. Agreed, but if they've only had one of two shots, I think it'd be better to say that instead of the generic "Vaxxed against Monkey Pox" which I would take implies being fully protected...pretty difficult in NYC atm. Since only having one is not as protective as being 2 weeks after the second shot, I think any potential client deserves to know that.
  15. It's interesting to see guys mentioning in their ads that they are now vaxed for Monkey Pox here in NYC. While I can see that they may have had one shot, I don't see how they can be fully vaxed here if the city is only giving first shots so far. Unless, though I doubt, they were able to get the one shot vax.
  16. I'm not sure we are supposed to be able to schedule it ourselves. The 2nd shot button on the site has been greyed out this entire time, but I was told when I got my shot that I would be contacted for my second one in 3 to 4 weeks. So maybe they are just scheduling the 2nd one manually? Dunno.
  17. I can't find the direct answer to your question, though I keep reading discussions where they say you don't have to worry starting 2 weeks after the second dose. And since they say "specifically, direct contact with the lesions that form as part of the rash."...it goes to reason that someone who is completely vaxed for it won't develop the lesions.
  18. Heck, those strike me as hilarious 😆.
  19. Actually, I feel like the US is headed more toward the dystopia of 'Handmaid's Tale'. 🙄
  20. Thanks to your helps, and others', I'm getting my first dose today. I've been trying to find answers to the same question you asked in this post. 2 things I'd like answers to are 1) if you had the smallpox vax as a kid, do you have good protection against MP? and 2) Is there any boost from having a childhood smallpox and now one dose for MP? From my reading, I've seen everything from "they don't know how much protection is left from smallpox vax" to "you'll be covered until you hit 88, if you live that long". Ugh.
  21. No, it's not.
  22. And are rightly called out here for being so. If you read any other threads around here, almost universally guys around here say NO to paying deposits.
  23. INHO, someone who uses fake pics AND requires a deposit should not be promoted in these forums.
  24. Hm. He's been on my list for a while now and was the one I was looking forward to most. Now after reading how your session went I'm more on the fence. I realize he's trying to make up for how the initial appointment went, but what I don't understand is why didn't he just turn off (or mute) his phone completely during your appointment? If he is worried about turning off the phone for a very important call, he can just mute it and leave the phone somewhere face up so he can see the screen. I always mute my phone when I go to an appointment. I'll have to see more positive posts about him now before I decide to take the plunge on him.
  25. I think it's Connor.
