There is a wide spectrum of what people consider are reasonable tipping practices. I am, it appears, at one end of the spectrum; I routinely tip 30% or more to a sole proprietor; especially, when the occasion warrants it. Since I tend to see the same guys over time, I appreciate that they are happy to see me and willing to accommodate my schedule and interests. In some spa instances, I have tipped anywhere from 75 to 100%. I tend to like the guys I see regularly and I am generous to friends.

I think he’s fabulous. Massage was solid, he’s attractive and such a kind person. I respect that he doesn’t want his face posted on the internet.

He’s also very sensual. I don’t generally look for too much sensuality in the massage so for me it was actually more than I needed, which he respected. But if that’s your thing, you should definitely give him a try.

@Cubist I agree. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions with StrongStrokes. In fact they have gotten better over time.

Just wondering if anyone thinks they will be hiring less during this time.

At this point I personally am trying to keep life as status quo unless I hear something further. Too early to panic yet. But some people do.

I have never been disappointed at Greenhouse (Tony, Allen, and Owen), with the exception of those face pillows. The massages have always been solid and the provider more than accommodating. The pillows on the other need to be cleaned and have washable covers added.

I know he's been talked about a lot on this forum, but I want to register complete disappointment with Johnsport on the sensual/erotic and interpersonal level. Although many in the community advocate being clear in advance about the specifics of the "extras" one wants, I opt--almost always successfully--to use the full range of personal communications to let the masseur know what I want (I only choose masseurs who include all three options (there to erotic)). It's not a complicated language! I found him unfriendly, he only took his shirt off, and he assiduously avoided erogenous zones. It's one of the only massage experiences I look back at with regret.

That was my experience as well and I had verified the availability of MT and HE before hand.
