But to your question...there was a guy who was a year behind me in school that was also gay...he came out his eighth grade year, and then I was of course in 9th grade but not out yet. Just FYI it's a small school everyone knows everyone the junior high and high school were attached. In all honesty this kid was a little weird we didn't run in the same circles and after he came out he changed a lot...within a month he had a very effeminate voice and was partying and smoking weed (due to my parents involvement with rec drugs and alcohol I would never hang out with a kid like that...gay or not) and a lot of his friends distanced themselves from him no one was straight up mean to him but they just stopped hanging out. So fast forward a bit and I came out during that summer and nothing really changed for me friends wise and I didn't change myself at all still the same ole kid. And so the kid that came out before me and I worked at the same place along with his boyfriend...and they both standoffish towards me and rude and I think they even tried to get me fired...but anyway they thought I should have stood up for him when he came out. I wrestle with that a little bit but he also did a complete 180 and like I said above he was a guy I would never hang out with anyway. So I guess I am Matt in the story except I didn't beat anyone up.

15 is a highly impressionable age. It might be that he is questioning his sexuality because he actually enjoys it or that he thinks that the coach would only molest a gay guy. Sexual abuse can make you think of/question a lot of things.

I would say that is very accurate description of how those sites work. Correct, I have stayed at an Airbnb where it was just a host’s extra property that he rented out. Still a good experience but I could see how it could turn into a bad experience. Something else to keep in mind is to check out if the host will be staying at the place while you are there or if you have the whole place or just a room. I prefer having the entire place myself.

There are risks involved with Airbnb, the host can cancel your reservation at any time. I had an Airbnb set up in NYC and the host cancelled on me the morning before I was to arrive. In that case though the host is supposed to help you find another airbnd spot that is comparable to what you just had. Also, you have to make sure that the host cancels the booking so that it is not on you.

Yes, Georgetown would be far better and based on his experiences I hope he is able to go (I would understand if he just wanted to go out of state just to get away from where he grew up). But as said above if he goes into law school or other grad school his undergrad degree won’t mean as much. I am guessing he has considered these options and I’m sure he will do well wherever he goes.

Yes good point, do really well in undergrad and have a good chance of getting into a first tier law school.
