I was thankfully blessed with good family because even from a young age I was always pushed to do things even when I did not want to. Most of the skills on the list I got from being in boy scouts and the rest I got from a young age. I was payed to do chores and when I wanted to buy something I had to pay for myself with my allowance. I was forced to open CDS and savings accounts and talk to the banks tellers by myself. When I got my first job had to pay back my school loans and pay rent at my own house. Every time I would be so upset and feel wronged, except when I went to boy scouts, because all my other friends and cousins didn't have to do this but now I am glad I did have that type of upbringing.

Idk about how it was 15 years ago but even a couple of years ago it was much easier lets say narrowing down the playing field and one didnt have to play 1000 questions before meeting up.

Yes we do need Japanese level of service and reliability but that is most likely due to the culture and mentality of the Japanese people then Americans. You dont see people lining up to get into trains just pushing to get into train and holding doors in NYC also no homeless on Japanese trains or people throwing trash on the tracks. We also need turnstiles that you cant fair evade also. Never felt afraid taking the NYC subway just usually disgusted by how gross it can be.

Honestly if i was told they would be increasing their rate, even if I really liked them, I would probably ask 1 question before deciding to see them again and that is how much for multi-hours. If there was no discount then I would say it was a pleasure meeting you. I am not the type to haggle or expect to be grandfathered in because the other person needs to do what is best for them. When my hairdresser told me he needed to increase his prices I just found a new one.
