In the Oak Lawn area of Dallas (predominantly gay neighborhood) there is a well-known homeless woman who has been dubbed Crazy Mary-Queen of Oak Lawn. The Oak Lawn area has adopted her and looked over her for the past 30 years. In face, a Facebook page has been set up to report on her comings and goings as well as her current needs. Search Facebook for Crazy Mary Quuen of Oak Lawn. Not too long ago she was presumed dead since no one had seen her in a very long time. The local gay newspaper The Dallas Voice even printed an obituary about her. She was subsequently found to be alive. Even the Dallas Morning News ran a story on her. She’s quite an interesting lady.

Interesting thread. Living in a country is different than traveling to a country. I’ve traveled to many of the countries listed in the article. I’ve also lived in one of the countries for two years (Iran-pre Khoemeni) and would NEVER have lived as an openly gay man. I also lived in Kenya (next door to Uganda and for all practical purposes the same as Uganda) for two years and kept my homosexuality to myself. Don’t kid yourself...the vast majority of Africa would just as soon you didn’t exist. Traveling to the countries on this top-10 list normally don’t present problems. You’re a tourist for a short period of time, spend some money in the country and take a few photos. No problems. Try hooking up with the wrong guy in any of these countries and you’re taking your future and your security into your own hands.

It appears to me that this would be a moot point. The neighbor knows what he does. Even if nothing transpires between the neighbor and provider the neighbor could choose to not exercise discretion. The provider is powerless to control his neighbor’s action in this case.

After reading his ad I wasn’t entirely sure he was a Sean Cody model. He says “recently a Sean Cody model”. That was ambiguous to me. Recently in this case could be interpreted to mean “used to be”. If I say “I was recently in NYC” that implies I am no longer in NYC. At any rate, I’m left not knowing whether he is or he isn’t. The world will continue to rotate on its axis regardless.

This is just a guess on my part but I would think “Unique “ is the number of individual users who have viewed an ad and “Profile” refers to the number of times that an ad has been viewed or clicked on. Example: One person views an ad 5 times. Unique visits = 1, Profile visits = 5. This is simply a guess on my part. By the way, I couldn’t find Unique visits anwhere on a profile ad. Is that part of the profile ad or part of a user’s account statistics?
