This sure is a cheap crowd. Treat a guy right and they will usually treat you right. Yes, there are exceptions and prima donnas but a lot of these guys are just working for the money, either to get over a rough spot, supplement their income from a low paying job or getting through school. Sending cash for an Uber.. could be a scam but sending an Uber from your account, that's like one of the posts, separating the flakes from the real customers. Before the pandemic I had an apartment in NYC for weekends. I walked a lot, I used Uber a lot, I NEVER took the subway. Treat these guys right and they will treat you right. Treat them like sleazy low lifes and they will live up to your expectations every time.
