I went to a sex party in summer 2018. A few days later the organizer emailed the attendees (at least the ones for whom he had email addresses) and revealed that one guest had since informed him that he tested positive for chlamydia. He relayed that it was undetectable and easily treated. While happy my test was negative I was impressed that the infected party reported it to the host and that he in turn reached out attendees. A tip of the hat to Barcode and others like him for being candid and responsible!

I love kissing and I think it goes back (a long time ago) to when I was a young man first figuring out my sexuality and quite inexperienced. Extensive kissing in a bar or at a house party (remember them?) got us in the mood to take things to the next level.

I note he has, "ask me" for orientation. It was "straight" before which isn't my thing.

He was smooth (probably shaved or waxed) and had a leaner although exceptionally well defined physique. He was such a gentleman!!! So polite and friendly with a Southern accent. While Netflix and Amazon Prime offer a lot of gay or gay themed movies I have been unable to find these titles: Scenes From the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills (1989). (Paul Bartel's "Eating Raoul" is available) Last Exit to Brooklyn (1990) Welcome to Woop Woop (1997) It's possible that they aren't as good as I recall. Because of where I was in my own personal development they mattered. Does anyone recall any of them? I wonder why they're not available at a time when there are so many outlets.

Interesting thread. I smoked pot when in my twenties, so it's been awhile. I recall laughing at parties with friends and watching movies, especially comedies. That was when you went to the video store and rented a VHS tape! For some reason it just lost all appeal. At my present age I have zero desire. Does anyone think it an age thing? Is it more appealing or enjoyable when one is younger?

Steamworks is top of the line. They're the biggest and cleanest you'll find. However, I don't recommend going there or to any bathhouse if you just wish to grind and do "innocent stuff." I doubt you'll find other patrons seeking the same. Maybe you'd be better off in a bar.

While you may have been so busy checking out local talent (We'll await your reviews) did you notice if there was any play among the guests?

Purplekow, as you may know, he looks damn good in his baseball uniform! He was in Boston last year when the Phillies played the Red Sox (interleague series) and I had seats near the visitors dugout. Had to remember that the action was on the field.

I used to stay (and mourn its loss) at the nearby Windamar. I visited Worthington a few times for Scruff & Grndr hookups. Noticed everyone at the pool wore suits (often Speedos). Is that the norm?

I'm thinking of going somewhere for Columbus Day weekend, October 12 -14. MAL takes place in DC over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend, IML in Chicago over Labor Day. Is any city known for a gay event over Columbus Day weekend? Nothing special happens in New England and it isn't yet cold enough to have to escape to Florida.

I didn’t receive much input and it may be partially explained by my observation that Ogunquit is much straighter than when I last visited 7 or 8 years ago. The Front Porch piano bar is now all straight. The crowd at Maine Street, the only gay bar is mixed. It is still gay friendly but take out the rainbow flags from the shops and it’s another quaint Maine town. Still lovely by the way, we’re glad we came.
