I never gave it much thought. We were all there naked. First time getting a look at the variety of equipment. I guess that would never fly today.

Not as exotic of a flight, but I used to fly to MIA once a month. Would leave after work to get business class on the on 3 cabin that departed early evening. The lights approaching MIA are colorful. The buildings, and the outer areas. Took me a couple of trips in to realize the green lights were pools.

I've taken three. Smaller boats, and ports that are not full of the huge ships are best. I do agree that a big negative is the short time allowed to see a place. A positive, is if you just have no interest in being a tourist, and stay onboard, time in port really goes by fast.

Unfortunately, sometimes meds give me dry mouth. I compensate by drinking something beforehand, but tough to produce the slurp.

I heard back today too. He responded to my question of whereabouts he planned to host, and he said he did not know yet. I think he so far would like to visit, as he didn't indicate it may not happen, although, last I checked, he no longer has Chicago in his ad. I agree, seems like a nice guy.

I emailed him today, and he responded to my initial email about a couple of hours later. I had a 2nd question, emailed him, and have not heard back from him yet. Yes, it's an old hotel. You will get to experience a very small, and very slow elevator. If you take the stairs, you may notice the treads are not level. One staircase we took had a very noticeable lean to the side. But, that was in 2001, let us know. Be sure to catch the ballroom dancing.
