I think the print on posts (such as what I'm typing at this moment) could be darker to better contrast with the white background. Appears more gray to me. I wear progressive lenses, and I find myself moving my head up more often than before to find the best (clearest) view.

It wasn't until I was 58 that I hired, and was with a man for the first time. It was my try before I die thing, and am glad for it. Have met a few others. No regrets. Now in my 60's, I'm beginning to be more conscious of living without regrets.

I'm not sure either, just thought I alert you to the threads in case you hadn't seen them yet. It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

May just be my laptop, or that I use Chrome, but when I hover the arrow over "Like", a bar about 3 inches wide appears below. In the very far right side of the bar, there's an emoji (the only one that appears). When I hover the arrow over it, a small blue box appears just above that I says "Angry". No other emojis appear in the bar, but I just happened to move the arrow to the left after hovering over "Angry", and small blue boxes appear as if the denote the blank space has other emojis, and what the absent emojis mean. Moving to the left from "Angry", is "Insulting", "Dislike", "Sad", "Meh", "Ad Hominem", "Verbose", "Applause", "Happy", and "Like". But, as I said, there is no actual emoji that appears within the bar other than the "Angry" emoji. Just thought I let you all know in case others are not seeing things that are being discussed, such as tongues, and sunglasses.

So how does this new stuff work? If I click on "like", I think that is it. But in the new world, do I have to pick an emoji, because I just clicked on like, and happened to hover on the emoji, and it said angry. I'm so confused. Did I say I liked it (I did), or did I say I was angry at what was posted (not)? I think I'm going to just read for a while until I can figure out what's going on.

May account for all the bullying we hear about. (or is social media to blame) Back to the subject, and how sugar is affecting our health.

I use Chrome. When I hover over either, I get nothing. When I click, I get a page entitled ImgBB -UploadImage- to upload and share images, and some bar to presumably click to start uploading. All Greek to me.

Sad news to hear. You all knew him better than I, and he clearly was self-sacrificing, and honorable. A good man. My sincere condolences to his family, including those of you here, and to you @tristanbaldwin on the loss of your good friend. May he rest in peace.

I have a Marriott Visa, a Starwood Amex, and a Hilton Honors Amex. In the last few months, I've stayed at one Marriott property, and three Starwood properties. I used the Amex at the Starwoods, and the Visa at the Marriott (I really never liked Marriott). In my experience, when my card was compromised, or charges needed to be disputed, Amex is the best card company to deal with. I don't know the extent of the hotel data breach, but if I'm going to worry, I am going to worry more about Chase (the Marriott card), and if needed, just cancel that card.

I love Hawaii. I'm hoping to be in Wailea in January.

Curious if anyone else has met Alex. We've exchanged a couple short emails, seems nice.

Using Chrome, in the last few days, when I go on the message forum (while incognito), in the upper right corner, next to, and left of the star, there is a shield, left half light, right half dark, with a small x lower right in red, similar to the red notice when I have an Alert, or a message in my Inbox When put my cursor on it, it says: "This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources." I have McAfee.

I keep my hair very short, so see my barber every two weeks, sometimes sooner if my, or his travel plans would put the next appointment beyond the normal next appointment. The couple of times I've called at the last moment to get in early, he's stayed late. He only charges $15, so I give him a $20 bill each visit. Christmas tip, $100 on top of the normal $20.
