  1. The le st andre is a great choice. Located at the corner if st andre and st catherine, it may be in need if some tlc, but it is a two minute walk to campus and five minute walk to stock. It is also near two pharmacies, several atms, two metro stops and they deliver a continental breakfast to your room in morning.

I admit, this place isn't for everyone. I have always found it clean, but it is popular so it may be a little busy and noisy. I have been using this place for 13 years and never found a reason to look elsewhere.

    Price and location are excellent.

  2. Even though the "new" Boardwalk has been open for a while, the official Grand Opening is tonight, July 13th. They are actually offering free admission tonight which is a first!!

They list "Full Menu" on their FB ad, so perhaps the outdoor cafe is open?

If anyone attends, please give an update.

I was there for the grand re-opening, and the place was packed, just like the old days. Dancers are starting get better looking compared to what was being presented a few months ago.

The place looks great, tiki bar is a nice addition and the restaurant was actually busy.

The only draw backs are they still allow smoking inside and the lap dance rooms and pricing need to be addressed. Half the rooms have no lighting so it's the sexy glow of the dancer's phone and the rooms are the size of high school gym locker. Also, their pricing for use of rooms is $25 for one time dance or $35 for all night. If they followed Johnson's lead, $10 for all night would bring in hotter dancers who could make actual money.

  3. The one thing they need to change is the pricing system for the use of the rooms. They are charging $20 for a one time use or $35 for all night. That does make one think twice about going out back, especially if you go just down the road to Johnson's and only pay $10 for an all night wrist band, where the men are a little hotter and the cubicles well lit so you can see.

  4. Update on boardwalk: I stopped in Saturday night. They are under new ownership, and they are taking steps to turn it around. They are doing remodeling where currently they took out the third dance station (a box, lol) and the cage. It pretty much looks like Hitler's bunker after the war, but give them credit for trying to stay open and upgrade at same time. Luckily, they still have bartenders Felipe and Roger. The dancers are starting to look a lot better, especially if you like Latin men. One in particular, Lester a Cuban (I guess they have too many Carlos' dancing there), worked me like an old lady works a slot machine spending her retirement check. The difference is I paid off. I never seen that much energy in a dancer, lol.

All in all, it looks like a positive move.

  5. It must be getting cold north of the border because we are getting dancers from Montreal coming to Johnson's in Ft. Lauderdale for some local sun and fun.

For the last three weeks we had Dan here from Campus. A nicely muscled Quebecois, who left very enriched, lol. Thank goodness for the exchange rate!

I just heard that the ever sexy Franco, from Stock Bar, is currently in house at Johnson's. If you have not seen him, he is about as perfect a body as you can get, rough deep voice and very friendly - not a divo.

He is only here for another week, so make a New Year's Resolution to pay him, and Johnson's, a visit -- I know you won't be disappointed!!!

  6. Cockeyed, you just hit Johnson's on an off night. I prefer the big guys, but also appreciated a guy who is smaller but ripped and buns of steel, lol. There are a few smaller guys of Latino background who are also gay, and man are they great in private!

Johnson's is a place where you get your regular dancers and then lucky to find an occasional dancer who only shows once a month. It's that one gem that makes you hooked on the place.

If worse comes to worse, I think I can find a couple of gay dancers who will keep you occupied all night and broke!!!!!

  7. Concerning boardwalk, I think it may have been more like a few months ago. Within the last year this place has taken a nose dive. This place is like Titanic without the pleasure of Leonardo DiCaprio. Longtime employees and any decent looking dancer have hopped on a life boat. The only difference with Titanic is that ownership seems to be dressing as a woman and jumping on a lifeboat. Another sign of something going on is that boardwalk isn't advertising in hotspots magazine. They went from a two back page ad to a single page , now nothing.

It is a sad sight to walk in around 11pm and the place is slow, not like it was prior to Johnson's when you couldn't walk around the place without bumping in to people - and have over 30 dancers .

Johnson's has definitely taken the lead in male entertainment.

  8. I stopped by boardwalk friday evening. For the past year, their backroom pricing structure has been all over the charts. Every time you would walk in, the prices would change on a whim.

Well, the other night i was hit for $35 for a wristband that would get me all night access.

If you go to johnsons, the same wristband is $10 for the evening. Why such a great divide? Boardwalk doesn't place mints in their booths. This is just a glaring example of greedy owners screwing the patrons and dancers.

I shouldn't complain, more than likely, they will change the prices again.

Hey, i guess this is a prime text book example of capitalism at work, lol.

  9. I went to johnsons on friday after an absence of three weeks. The place was packed. Good to see, since summer is extremely slow for south florida clubs.

Anyway, i got to talk to omar, and he has been there for a month and enjoys it. Needless to say, he is as hot as ever!

Dancers that evening that i loved are rico, luis, ricky, chad and alexander. They had about 20 dancers working that night.

Afterwards, i traveled to boardwalk. The place was dead. I asked one of the dancers about it and he told me omar took a lot of his customers with him.

On a side note, i find that boardwalk has been on a downslide for the past year. Many issues with this place.

  10. Incredible montreal visit! Stock had great dancers - franco is massive all over and a great guy, morgan is one to definately see as well as charles. Kid has thick thighs for a short guy but hot. Bryce is new, so be gentle lol, simon is cute and milton has a body to die for. And, don't forget marco who sports clark kent glasses and killer pole moves.

Over at campus, my favorite is ron a killer body and hot as hell. You have oliver, daniel, travis, thierry and lenko. Once you get past 10 pm, the beef starts to arrive.

Either way, you can't go wrong unless you hit ladies night, which you should avoid like the plague! I have never seen so many short and fat "ladies" who wear more make up than your average Drag Race contestant. Once they get drunk, they screech and become loud. They definately ruin an evening.

Side note: why do gay guys bring "women" to gay bars?
