"actually" "amazing" "sign off on" (Why not "approve"?)

I'm reluctant to wade into this perennial, controversial issue. But can we take the good with the bad? For instance, the presence of women at a nude club for men sometimes facilitates seeing straight guy dancers rocked up grinding on women. @azdr0710, tell us your Poseidon story? LOL. And the dog poop is not all on one side of the fence: There arguably should be nearly as much critiquing/kvetching about the straight guy dancers (the pussy talk got so "bad" at Adonis that boss man had to make an announcement at a dancer meeting at one point reminding guys to be aware of their clientele and not stand in front of the club smoking talking so loudly about how much p*ssy they're shaggin') as there is the sometimes borderline gynophobic complaints about (straight) women. It seems to me that the 'enlightened center' must hold: Behavior should be the focus, not the mere presence or absence of whatever gender. If a group of women are being obnoxious, whether it be due to screaming or "imperialistic" (LOL--love this word choice) tipping, bring it to management's attention. Literally go find a manager and point out the table that's not respecting the experience of fellow clubgoers. In a hopefully not too haughty or buzzed way, get the name of the person you speak with and if nothing happens in response to your complaint, call the bar the next day and bring both the 'offense' and the lack of response up to an owner. After all, the bigger problem it seems to me is not the presence of these 'offending' patrons. Rather, it's the management that sets door policy and is permitting whomever in because it helps the club's bottom line.

I feel you, but I do sometimes wonder: Is the page view count unique visitors, or does every view from even the same IP address contribute to that total? And what would the numbers look like if we could carve out posts by both the Kool-Aid sippers (me and other fans) and beer throwers (the detractors, haters and scrubs . . . "hangin' out the passenger side of their best friend's ride, tryna holla at [Ryan]" LOL.)? But yeah, lest anyone think I'm quibbling: The numbers are impressive. It's the reason why I piped up in another RS thread when someone was asking about the size of RS' dick. Mine's bigger but so the eff what. Later I realized I shoulda said, "His dick is small enough to fit through a doorway and big enough for me to find with my mouth." LOL. Dick size is not the reason these numbers are so big, way bigger than my threads. LOL.

Generalizations and attempts at psychoanalysis aside, what @LivingnLA concluded is what I meant/am speculating (as opposed to the direction the last two posts have stated/intimated/tried to take it). Someone that huge is going to be recognizable based on their body alone. Heck even though he'd processed the photos in such a way as to make his tattoos not visible, based upon his incredible physique alone I recognized a (straight) buddy of mine I knew from the gym years ago in a Backpage ad featuring faceless photos. That's how I learned he was escorting. (And, of course, I called him. We talked and I hired him. Awesomeness. But I was super respectful. Not everyone is gonna be like that or wanna be so recognized/called out.) Reese is already stared at based upon size alone. It seems to me this is a personal choice, not "a body building thing." Maybe Reese doesn't want to be so recognizable to people who frequent RM and who may also then see him out and about and thereby conclude he escorts. It can create all kinds of problems with privacy violations, gossip, stalkers and haters when you're that 'desireable.' An escort buddy of mine had a jealous, verklempt client track down his parents (who at the time did not know he was escorting). Scary out there sometimes.

Per the Adonis e-mails, another LA nude this Saturday night, May 27. (James "Denver" in da house, both right now at Fubar and Saturday night at the nude.)

Props to Alfie for today's Adonis Los Angeles photo shoot. He shot over 20 guys individually at Fubar and then we went up into the Hollywood Hills/Mount Olympus area for some group shots, the latter being unprecedented for Adonis in that kind of outdoor environment. The latter part of the shoot was kinda hot and sweaty. For those fellow, um, cultural anthropologists out there, it felt to me like old school William Higgins: Sailor In the Wild. LOL. Lots of women and a few dudes jogging by, staring at all the shirtless hotties . . . asking questions about what we were doing . . . and asking for photos. Look for some of these pics to start populating to Adonis marketing soon: the Website, the e-mails and GED. (P.S. - Of course, like he's hustled me for some of the wine I bring for myself when I tend bar at the nude parties, Alfie hustled me for some of my Gatorade while we were climbing up and shooting in the Hills. Of course, I obliged. LOL. Nice calves, too.)

Part of the answer to your (and OP @Westsideguy's) question is a component of my point: All this attention is focused on someone who (likely) does not consider himself an "escort," does not have an ad online and, again, to my understanding does not do "privates" in the proper sense of that word (meeting someone away from the club or bar he's dancing at). If someone wants to meet a dancer or escort so situated, the likely best bet is to go to the club where he's performing. If one were to contact Adonis bosses, they wouldn't give out contact info (and neither do I, and I have Alfie's phone number). That's usually out of respect for the dancer's/escort's request and also as a practical matter: "We'd" be constantly giving out guys' info if that was something that wasn't generally frowned upon. And frankly in the case of Adonis, of course management would rather you came out and saw the dancer in public after paying a cover charge. That's business. Meanwhile back at the RM ranch, there are tons of guys with readily available means of contact. But some guys don't want that, right? They not only like the chase, but they wanna chase after the Bad Boy. Some may consider it "unattractive" for me to call that out, but I'm just suggesting that it's something some of us need to look at. Critically.

I think you might be referring to this post about hottie boy Blake: If so, it's not quite accurate to say that I said Blake's pics are/were in my "possession." I said that those pics are available to anyone who receives the Adonis e-mails. In other words, I think it should be clear to anyone without a critical agenda regarding me that I'm not 'holding out' on providing something that's not widely available elsewhere. It's a way of promoting Adonis not just 'pimping' personal faves, see? I don't (yet?) have a working relationship with Blake (although we may work something out in terms of my hosting him the next time he comes to LA, which I have done for several fellow dancers when they've come to town over the past couple of years because I'm known as a solid host and a good dude) and he did not ask me to post his pictures. If he had, I would. Your comments intimate that you might be under the misperception that my primary goal on these pages is to promote other guys. At the same time, I think it's plain to anyone who pays even modest attention to my posts that it's not accurate to say my participation here is about "actively only pursuing clients for [myself]." My comments in that regard were about what is and is not practical to do every time someone asks for pictures that, again, can be found fairly easily elsewhere.

Not sure of the appropriateness of any direct physical comparison. My points, I hope nuanced enough to not be overly ad hominem but I think specific enough to be clear, have to do with personality and the persistence of these kinds of threads often focused on guys who can't be bothered with online presence/marketing on this site or reviews. And it's not at all specific/limited to me vis-a-vis someone else. You haven't given me the pleasure of reminding me here or privately of who you are. And this last remark from me isn't responding to your "on point" post. But since you bring up Fubar/Adonis, it helps me make the point when I say I've been privy to backroom conversations amongst dancers there that customers are not. And I can point to several other Adonis dancers who are in just as nice of shape who don't say the kinds of things this guy does (and who've never physically struck a fellow dancer). Again, I grant that "some guys like that." But forgive me as a fellow provider if I say, again, that there's a difference between paying for that performance in a booking versus lusting after someone who isn't performing that attitude: It's who he very well is all the time. And not just per my anecdotal experience; it's per many posts here. If that's still "hotness" to someone (not you), I'd suggest therapy not a discussion forum. It's just a little frustrating to see this kind of language and fetishism directed at someone problematic when some of us are out here trying to be nice guys and their best professional selves to as many customers and clients as possible.

Unless he's popping back to Montreal periodically, it's not my understanding he's been there in a while. I could be wrong. But a general theme in the thread is that although there was less attitude in the past, there def is some now. Personally, I find it a little pathological to deem someone amongst the "hottest guys" despite a crappy attitude when there is ALWAYS a guy in the same or better shape who provides better customer service. THAT'S hotness.
