But for his wife...to suddenly have your life partner slip into a coma is surely a terrifying event with no script for a guaranteed outcome. She's been tasked with his care for years, mostly alone and is the one who needs to discover him when he falls down, has (another) stroke, and shits himself. While most people ask about my father, who's the one who's terminally ill. I always make a point to ask my mother how SHE'S holding up and what can I do for HER.

Living in NYC you encounter a lot of very attractive people who always get invited to the various social occasions around town. I would say the majority of pretty faces, who I chat with lose their looks within 15 minutes of discovering what a narcissistic asshole they actually are inside. Exactly But if you watch the MAJOR tectonic events you will see increased activity on the opposite side of the tectonic plate within a few days. There are always earthquakes because the plates are always floating and moving . But there are tiny creeps and major jumps. The major jumps cause major earthquakes and increased volcanic activity. Not that you ever expect Buffalo to see much activity but it happens when the Atlantic plate shifts a iot.

That's a ridiculous statement. I have the Volcano Discovery app on my phone you can see that various volcanic eruptions and earthquakes by time period and the lines of the tectonic plates. Within days of a major volcanic eruption you see tectonic activity on the opposite side of the plate. The activity in Sicily and Turkey are concurrent with a lot of Activity in Guatemala on the far opposite side of the Atlantic Plate where it meets the Pacific.

I know a LOT of "religious people" ( being from Central PA ). I can say from MY experience ( religious NOT meaning Christian, not Catholic nor Jewish or Muslim ) that even religious families accept that the kids should live together for a year before marrying. Their greater concern is having children out of wed-lock. That is still a no-no. That said...the MOST religious Pennsylvania Deitsch do prefer a long courting period with a chaperone ( like it's still the 1950s ).
