  1. My most liked post ever: https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/how-to-craft-a-subject-line.137825/
  2. Curious if anyone has worked with J&W? Looks like they’re headed to NY and(or?) LA next. Great look, but I worry this would be a 15 minute kind of session. https://rentmasseur.com/JWLATIN
  3. Curious if anyone has worked with him: https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/35086/ Open to other recommendations as well!
  4. I saw him in SF when I was there on business about three months ago and found my experience was consistent with everyone’s description of the massage. That said, I hate to say it but I thought his face was really odd — like he had too much plastic surgery and it made him look like a wax figure. It’s the kind of work where it’s impossible to tell how old he is — though if I had to guess I’d say late 40s. It was too unnerving for me. I would not repeat.
  5. I saw this Danny (https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/25716/) and he was amazing. Happy to share more...
  6. To be clear, are y’all referring to this Danny https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/25716/ or another one?
  7. MF is a pale shadow of what they used to be anyway. From “erotic” to “custom” to “heal” to “‍♂️“ it’s been a long, downhill slide. This to me is the nail in the coffin...
  8. I’m loving how literate this message board is! But, I shan’t concede the point. I’ve seen the word used to mean effeminate and I’d respectfully direct you to Webster’s: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/effete and Cambridge: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/effete
  9. Webster’s (third definition): effeminate a good-humored, effete boy brought up by maidenaunts — Herman Wouk
  10. Webster’s (third definition): effeminate a good-humored, effete boy brought up by maidenaunts — Herman Wouk
  11. I did. Effeminate is a hair too a strong word. Again I actually think that’s a fine thing; it just surprised me in this instance.
  12. I’ve seen these ads on previous trips to DC but thanks to Masseurfinder’s new use of numbers instead of names () I cant seem to find reviews of either: “V”: https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/33843/ “D”: https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/31837/ Daniel: https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/33053/ (Rate’s a bit steep... but depending on the extras could be worth it.) Thanks in advance for any tips, DCers!
  13. I’ll be the lone voice of dissent and say that while his body is perfection — all of it — I thought the massage itself was a C-/D+. Perhaps if I were into body worship or giving other attention to the masseur I would have enjoyed the experience more, but my sense is he was used to being admired, which came at the expense of him really putting the effort in. He was also much more effete than I was expecting given his photos. (There’s nothing wrong with that — I actually kind of like it — but it surprised me.) Of course, it could have been an off day; and we all have our preferences...
  14. Would it be bad to paste this thread as a “response” to anyone who didn’t fill out the subject line in an intuitive way?
  15. I did. He’s actually quite a talented masseur (B++ technique) but I found him to be a cold fish. I wouldn’t repeat — or recommend if you’re looking for anything more than just a fine massage.
  16. Name of masseur (or spa) AND CITY! Kthxbye
  17. Now that the 160-page-long post about NY spas has been taken down, does anyone have any recommendations for other masseurs at Super Men’s? Sounds like Luis is great; has anyone worked with others?
  18. If you value your relationship, why not say that you happened to see that he’s raised his rates but that you’re hoping as a long time client that you could keep paying what you’ve been paying. Worst that happens is he says no, which strikes me as unlikely (I assume most masseurs value long time clients over having to develop new business). I also don’t think there’s any harm in asking any masseur if he’s offering a discount when reaching out. You never know if they’re having a slow day; supply and demand applied. And if you don’t ask, they can’t say yes.
  19. This is a serious question — I don’t want to sound like a Debbie downer — but isn’t it possible (if not probable) that some of all of these spas could be raided? And couldn’t some of threads on this blog give police fodder/cause for doing so? I tend to stay away from spas for that reason; a sole practitioner feels safer for me. Thoughts?
