Been hiring for many years and in recent 1-2 years this has happened far more than I care for. Maybe it's because i'm hiring more now than when I first started, so higher "exposure", but I think it's also part of the times and the millennial crowd. Many of them will confirm the night before, only to no show or claim they have 'an infection", and later shown to be "online now" on RM. Disappointing as I move my schedule to make sure I'm there, but now I just remember that I save my $ from a likely bad encounter and more for the good ones that I have

Phuket town itself is very touristy and not much to look at, but outside of town on the peninsula there are lots of choices.
