I was thinking the same thing......I suspect I have done that in the past, but not the past weeks! I’ve been flying solo since late February.......with some regret that I didn’t pick a favorite and ask then to come stay with me for a prolonged visit at a mutually agreeable rate - although, unless they were blessed with better foresight than me, I can console myself that they probably wouldn’t have accepted before their risk of exposure was higher than I would have been comfortable with.....

I definitely feel so empathetic towards the providers impacted by this. @MrMattBig summed up well what I hope is a common philosophy- don’t take any amount out of desperation as it does potentially put your health (and others) at risk. (Hope, but expect it’s not as common as I would like to believe......) I know that can be hard when you need $$ to live......I don’t have any solutions, just concerns. I am ‘social distancing’ and anticipate having extra play $$ when this is all over....... stay safe and healthly my friends!

cool tip. Thanks. I was not aware of hydrogen peroxide wipes. Agreed the normal ethanol based wipes are of limited use - you need like 30 min contact with ethanol to have a high sanitization rate. Just be mindful not to bleach your clothes!

I did find a lot of fusion cuisine that was fun - Caribbean-Cajun, Asian-Cajun , etc. if you get back, I really recommend Maypop https://www.maypoprestaurant.com/menus/ outstanding food, and fun space. and as always, the vibe is so fun in the big easy.

Hmmm...wondering what other people’s thoughts are on hiring? my company has recalled everyone from overseas and all international travel - even within region (ie, US to Canada, or Brazil to Argentina) requires group president approval. I am hesitant to hire right now...not that I think the risk is that high, but not sure it’s worth the risk versus a little patience. I haven’t changed any of my daily behavior - nor do I think it is needed (other than some more frequent hand washing, which is probably not a bad idea anyway ?). others thoughts? Are you hiring less right now? @OliverSaks - thoughts?

Heading to New Orleans soon. Always enjoy the food scene there - and looking to try some new places. sadly, the nightlife there seems to have continued the trend of becoming “more wholesome “......but any suggestions appreciated. In the past, I have resorted to bringing some companionship with me....this time heading in solo. Fingers crossed I can find something interesting while I’m there cheers- steve
