Two day’s ago.... I reached out to three different, new guys with a specific, 2-hr meeting request 24-hours in advance and not one has responded.

Same here - I have guys who messaged me that I otherwise would not have met. It captures my attention and gets me interested Also, frequently I receive no response to texts I send to guys (stating a definitive interest in meeting with a proposed date and time) and sitting around waiting for days sucks. If someone messages me I know they are interested.

I had two Delta flights to Miami booked last week - on different days due to weather concerns - and I cancelled one of them the morning of departure and hopped on the other flight. I never “checked in” for the first flight. I cancelled within the Delta app under My Trips. I received an Email confirming it was cancelled and the receipt showing I had $x of eCredits - the full amount of the ticket and tax. From the email: Tickets meeting waiver criteria, including all flights departing March 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020 and all bookings made between March 1 and May 31, 2020, will not incur any change or cancellation fees when you book your new flight. If you canceled a trip that was in March through September 2020 and was booked by April 17, 2020, you are eligible for our waiver extension to book and travel by September 30, 2022. Funny thing.... when I look back over all the guys I’ve spent time with the handful of experiences that stick out in my mind have been with guys not of this body type but rather with guys with whom I shared a great emotional connection. And most of the time they look quite ordinary. Unfortunately you can’t identify emotional intelligence, empathy and personal chemistry thru a profile. I start with something in a profile that catches my eye and try to see if someone is a match with the limited communication available. Guys who self-identify as a type of “punk” are usually really interesting. Those experiences have almost never been boring. Perhaps the difference can be metaphorically thought of as like having a cotton candy treat for a couple of hours versus a substantial steak dinner. They both have their place.

My guess is that if a law enforcement team has targeted you then you’re going to end up face down on the floor handcuffed no matter what you do. And not in the good way. If they’ve expended enough time and energy to get you there then they will bust you based simply on whatever communications have occurred up to that point. I really doubt you’d hear “Oh darn, I don’t want to kiss you. I’m a cop. You’re free to go.” I believe that even having condoms in your pocket can be considered evidence that you are soliciting. (Which is super stupid, like the other tactics, because it makes people take lots of risks and puts people in harms way.) The good news from my perspective is that gay male encounters that don’t involve street hustling are a really low priority. Every sting of clients/escorts I’ve read about lately is done “to combat human trafficking“. To the OP: saying “I’m not a cop“ out of the blue is sort of like saying “I don’t have herpes“ or “I’m not crazy.” It sounds really odd and would make me think something weird was going on.

Yes. This is absolutely 100% a personal decision everyone has to make. For me, kissing is such an important part of the experience that when I do hire again I’ll make sure we can kiss. I’ll continue solo until then.
