jusmeinbr reacted to + PhileasFogg in Do you ever contact RM reviewers for more info on reviews?
Funny you should ask
I just got such a request this evening. My username is similar on RM. So I’m instantly suspicious of someone who contacts me there rather than here. In this case, the client profile had 61 reviews (all on 1/15/26), 61,000+ profile reviews over 10+ yrs, and a profile age of 28 So, I’m suspicious and I contacted the provider to let him know before I respond.
Like you, I’d never discuss rates but I’d also not discuss other details either since different chemistries lead to different experiences
I did have someone contact me a couple months ago Asked for info on a provider I’d reviewed in Chicago. Was way too forthcoming with personal info and even shared his cell #…I looked him up on MrNumber and saw a number of red flags and then warned all the providers he’d asked about

Well, as I said, nothing ventured, nothing gained!
I reached out to him yesterday, and he was very courteous, prompt, and respectful in his responsive texts.
He strongly touts his massaging skills and quotes message rates in his opening correspondence. Nevertheless, if you ask him for other services, he’s happy to give a “yes” or “no.”
Ny RM profile outlines the ONLY three acts I like (worshipping feet, face sitting, and being spanked).
His English is decent, but he admits that he struggles with “longer words.” Accordingly, I think he had either a translator or perhaps ChatGPT to clarify for him because he texted me back this:
BDSM preference (receiving spanking)
• Foot worship
• Face-sitting
• He emphasizes that
At any rate, we agreed to terms within 30 minutes yesterday, and we just met with me enjoying a fantastic time with him. I asked him to please text me the next time he’s in the Big Easy, and he said he would. I will certainly meet with him again then.
He was so gracious in all correspondence both text and verbal, but he definitely demonstrated that, once he sensed I enjoy having a strap and paddle applied with vigor if the “chemistry” is right (and it is for me when someone like him is the deliverer), he was very much up to the task!!
A 5-star R/M review should appear from me later today.

Even if they're not doing a weekend, I've seen with guys who get 50-75 messages/day - triage rules their responses.
The last guy I saw in New Orleans was visiting and - because quality providers in NOLA are scarce - he averaged two clients/day for a month.
Between prep time, appointment time, and recovery time, that's a long day by itself...and then there's little things like eating and sleeping...triage.

I named a couple and I left a couple unnamed. The ones I named were costly AND bad

jusmeinbr reacted to + PhileasFogg in Do you have a second home?
About a year ago, I bought a small place in the French Quarter to have an escape from rural Mississippi where I relocated to be close to my family. The economics were easy - monthly costs of ownership (including flood insurance!) are less than a single weekend at my favorite hotel a couple blocks away - where I usually get one of their suites for entertaining frequent visitors that fly in. Renovation should be complete in 30 days and I’ll start using it for weekend entertaining. I think it’s anything but a money pit since the savings vs hotels will be 2-4k/month. Ask me how I feel about it after a hurricane though 😏 Both @BeamerBikes and @jusmeinbr have seen it and can probably attest that it’s perfect for my purpose
Ironically, my family is now chasing a job and relocating to New Orleans. So this will become a transitional home while I look for something permanent there. I will keep this little place as a getaway since it’s easy to entertain friends in the middle of the French Quarter (where Airbnb/VRBO is forbidden) and I can walk to everything (including groceries, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, theaters, etc)
To me, a house in the country sounds overwhelming. Too many things to maintain from afar and too many things to go wrong. Since this isn’t a market where real estate ownership is rewarded with assured appreciation in value, I look at every expenditure like this as needing to either make me cash flow equal to my securities or reduce my expenses.

I am going to keep this brief because I don’t want to waste any time or effort.
Having said that, it was me who wrote the post for which @johnwhatelse references above.
The reason I deleted it is simple. I provided a brief and totally factual replication of my texts to and from him. What ensued over the next approximate 30 hours was approximately 37 “contributions” to the post I made on this young man, with virtually every single “contribution” being a blanket condemnation of me.
i have no desire to even rehash all that was said about me on this forum in that brief period because it was long since deleted.
in short, however, @johnwhatelse has nailed it, and I would respectfully submit that the usefulness of this forum may become severely diminished when “pile on the poster” episodes such as that which transpired with me transpire.

Just my own approach:
Once quoted a rate, I either agree or decline.
On a couple of occasions, a provider has immediately dropped the rate (which I neither expected nor wanted), with one dropping it almost in half.
When that happened about seven months ago entailing ale_aleman who’d also been VERY deceitful with me about where he even was when we began corresponding two hours prior, I did respond in a terse manner.
Thereafter, I was utterly lampooned by members of this forum (about 32 such entries with high fives and one member praising another member for “calling it like I see it” regarding me — he “called” a very obvious ball a strike — and one member posting a tutorial on rate negotiation which I neither asked for nor wanted).
Accordingly, I deleted the entire post. The only comment I thought that was appropriate did come from @Jamie21, who basically said rate negotiation is very unlikely to result in a pleasing and fulfilling subsequent meeting. I did feel vindicated when @johnwhatelse made this post on the individual in question.
You do what you feel comfortable with, but for me, a final “yes” or “no” upon being quoted a rate has served me well for 22 years, and I plan to stick with that firm policy no matter how many unsolicited (and unwanted) tutorials on “rate negotiation” may surface on any future post which I originate.

“Super-hot” is in the eye of the beholder. I’ve seen guys raved about on this forum that I couldn’t be paid enough money by the U. S. Treasury to agree to meet with. I never say anything like that publicly about any provider because I think doing so is classless, and we all know we all have different tastes.
You’re correct to point out that location is key though. New Orleans is a tough market both for providers and clients. It does have one relatively new client who has possibly raised the whole city’s GDP by 0.13% through his hiring 😄, but I’ve heard from from several providers that they never plan to come back because New Orleans locals are, and I’m quoting, “cheapskates.” One provider (with whom I met and happily agreed to his $350 hourly rate because I viewed him as “super hot”), said he was flooded with texts such as, “Hey, will you let me suck you off for $20?”
So, in New Orleans, unless you’ve got tons of well-heeled visitors for a big event like the Super Bowl, quoting $500 will get you laughed right out of town (with the possible exception of our new resident whom I just referenced 😄).

I met him in NYC last year for an incall. Very easy to schedule and responsive to all my questions. Sexier in person and nice. Great kisser and skilled top. Would absolutely repeat.

I just met him for the first time and found him charming. Although I usually do weekends, my schedule only allowed a couple hours. Definitely will repeat for a weekend. I’m going to have to learn Spanish to know what he was moaning during the “action” 😅🤭

As anyone who follows posts I make on here is aware, I don’t mince my words regarding what a disaster New Orleans is for our hobby.
it’s also rare now for a provider with a “wow factor” to even visit the city anymore!
That is not the case for Sebastian_Leon who just arrived in the Big Easy and has a major “wow factor.”
I just finished a meeting with him within the last hour, and he was incredible. He fulfilled all three activities which “do it” for me (being spanked, having my face sat upon, and worshipping his feet) and he did it with gusto!! In fact, his verbal skills just may be the best I’ve ever experienced! I always just consider that a bonus, but he is very skilled in that regard!!
He is in New Orleans through Mardi Gras, which is February 17, 2026 this year, and here’s his profile:
Sebastian_Leon - Male Escort, Gay massage - New Orleans | Rent.Men
RENT.MEN Sebastian_Leon Gay Escort in New Orleans, Louisiana, available for Modeling,Erotic Massage,Bodywork. | Find all the best Male... I know the moderators will want to merge this post with his other main post, but I’m respectfully requesting that be done only after February 17 so that we can show him as much love as possible while he’s here. He said that, if he does well, he may very well return each winter to avoid the cold. Let’s get him back down here every year because, as I said at the outset of this post, a guy like him doesn’t visit the Big Easy very often!

I prefer to focus on the 90%+ positive experiences - but I did have four that turned into very bad experiences:
- After a couple of good trips, one from Oklahoma City (KaidenFoxx) lied and ghosted me before a big trip before coming clean weeks later (and then disappearing from the internet)
- After three good trips, one from Chicago went histrionic because he didn't like the fact that I got along better with his boyfriend than him - I'll leave nameless out of respect for his boyfriend.
- One in New Orleans (SkylerDiamond) proved completely unreliable on every dimension - communication, timely, honesty, etc
- One in New Orleans proved very disappointing as we he fell off the detox wagon and reverted to addiction on his way to becoming like SkylerDiamond.
Maturity, Intelligence, Sobriety - 2025 taught me what to focus on and it's AMAZING how elevated the experiences are!

Agree...that's my "rule " too...I either agree or don't agree and move on. Never negotiated. For longer time appointments (greater than 2 hrs) but not Overnight I ask them flat out to tell me, and same i either agree and book, or say no. Similarly in those situatons some have come right back after i said I'll pass with a different and lower rate.

Honestly, even if they were my dream date, paying that much would ruin it for me. My expectations would be raised, I'd think they were too arrogant to charge that much, and I'd be too critical of everything that wasn't ideal. YMMV, but I could never enjoy an experience if I felt I was overpaying from the start.

I agree you should not haggle. I am in the Chicago market and I have providers as low as $250 (coincidentally a favorite and super hot), most in the $300, and a couple at $350 for an hour of full service. I think if you're quoted a higher price than you are willing to pay, just thank them and move on.

I just wrapped up my second meeting with him, and I would have thought it hard for him to top last’s week’s meeting, but he did!! I’m in Austin at 4AM and he’s laying next to me. Visiting his home town, he’s curated the weekend. After a few visits, he knows me and has tailored it to what he knows I enjoy. This is a quality young man at every dimension. He’s is smart, witty, and refined. And unlike most his age, he stays present and off his phone. We already have three trips on schedule in coming months and we are starting to sketch out #4
