  1. I think it might be greater than America. As I look around, it appears that humanity as a whole is devolving.

  5. I'm curious to know if anyone here knows of a gay bar gathering place for seniors in NYC other than Town House? I have no complaints about the Town House, but it's always good to have options. On East 53rd Street at First Avenue there was the GH Club that I was hoping would survive, but it bit the dust eons ago.
  6. U.S. history is a history of recessions and recoveries. The U.S. economy, as is the economies of other countries, is influenced by the economic environments of other countries. The only path now, as it has been in the past, is to just ride it out until better times.
  7. Ever notice it's the non-medical science armchair crowd and Monday morning quarterbacks that are the most knowledgeable about Covid and the vaccines? 🙄
  8. If the behavior of commercial in-flight passengers these days persists, I would pass on an orbital flight.

  10. I believe it's just marketing strategy. There are indications that many potential clients are willing to expand their price-point limits for time with a straight/bi provider. I've noticed the same trend on the Flirt4Free site.

  13. I'm wondering if those cards are his or the ones needed by his potential clients.
  14. I have a question that maybe can be answered by any yacht owner(s) here in the fora. The sight of so many yachts reduced to rubble by hurricane Ian made me think that if I had a yacht, and had been forewarned, I would have stocked it with as many general necessities as I could and taken it out into the Gulf of Mexico until the storm passed. My thinking is that after the storm had passed the yacht could also serve as a temporary residence until the repair/restoration of my home was completed, or far enough along for me to move back into it. Have I over-simplified the situation? Of course, if I were fed-up with yacht ownership, I would just leave it for the hurricane to destroy whereby I would be rid of the yacht and collect the insurance funds.
  15. For me it's thick, shapely legs that boast thick calves that taper slightly inward to the knees, then taper outward to thick thighs with defined hamstring muscles that taper inward to a tight butt. If they are also cloaked with silky hair, jackpot! (Excuse me, something has come up that needs my attention.) 😊
  16. While I respect and applaud your stand for individual rights, I don't see an apples-to-apples representation in your example. Images of individuals having drinks/dancing at a gay bar would not have the same impact upon an employer as images of intense carnal behavior within social media. The images in the weatherman's case very likely negatively impacted the public's image of his employer's workplace environment, and I imagine caused considerable embarrassment for his former co-workers. A tragic loss for all concerned that could have been avoided with the forethought of reasonable discretion.
  17. Apparently, this is not a new abuse of immigrants. New York and some other states have enacted protection laws: In New York it's now illegal to threaten to report someone to ICE | NY State Senate (nysenate.gov) What to Do If Someone Threatens to Call ICE - FindLaw

  19. I'm baffled by the psychological need that overpowers individuals (other than those in the biz) with the desire to display themselves to the masses in such a base manner. The first casualty was obviously common sense for a high-profile media personality to engage in such a way on a social media platform. I wish him well for a full and timely recovery but asking an employer to absorb behavior of this nature is asking a lot.
  20. Really sad, his survival is bittersweet in that in addition to the burden of the inspiration for his jump he incurred the financial obligation for a two-month hospital stay. Hopefully, the BMW's owner was insurance adequate.
  21. A very good point. I had never considered that ripple effect.
