I don't intend to be a nag, but I'm really curious to know if your PCP is yea or nay on the COVID vaccine(s). One of my nieces is on staff at a hospital, not the medical staff, house services, and she told me that the hospital has discontinued the COVID shots being required for new employees and boosters for current employees. I'm currently getting every COVID shot that becomes available, but these conflicting views are giving me pause. Thanks for your time.

My mind kept wondering with the thought of, if I were to strut down that runway, how many of those people would be hospitalized from the crush at the exits.

I believe you are assuming too much responsibility upon yourself. The fact is there are nice and not-so-nice people in the world. The fact that you are rid of that ingrate is a blessing.

I got a blast yesterday. I decided to pay my physician a visit for a general onceover. Everything was going great until I told him I had gotten the latest COVID shot along with my annual flu shot. He hit the ceiling! He said no more COVID shots, that a lot of information has been suppressed and that the COVID shots were/are responsible for heart ailments in the young and cancer in the elderly. He went on to say that should I get COVID symptoms I was to call him and we would take it from there (not very comforting). I wanted to charge him with why he didn't send an e-mail blast or make some phone calls advising his patients of his concerns, but I refrained, he has been my primary care physician for 30+ years and all of his diagnoses and treatments have been right-on-the-money. On the upside, he approved of my getting the flu shot. 🙄

Got the latest COVID and flu shots today. So far only usual low-level soreness in my upper arms. I planned my visit with the hope of snagging that super hot twunky Asian pharmacist, but he was not there today. 😟 All was not lost, I was "serviced" by a very cute, long-haired caucasian twink who was just flirty enough for me to fantasize beyond my capabilities. 😛 I expect I'll be needing those fantasies tomorrow when the reactions to those shots come on full. 😵‍💫
