  1. I think this is the definition of the term "nice ass!"
  2. 87 years young! Our fearless Palm Springs Event Leader deserves every birthday accolade we can come up with! So many of us have enjoyed your Palm Springs Weekends and look forward to the next one. Thanks for bringing happiness to so many.
  3. First Republic Bank has no ATM fees. If another bank, even outside the US, charges you an ATM fee, FR reimburses you.
  4. Oh...
  5. Given that monkeypox shots here in the desert seem limited to a) those who know someone, or b) those with low income, I won't have to worry about myocarditis...oh, you said adolescents need be concerned? Never mind!
  6. I finished reading my ARC of The Shards. At 600 pages long I think Ellis asks a lot of the reader. It's especially slow at the beginning. But once he had me in the soap opera of Buckley High I was hooked. Ellis writes well about sex. His character masturbates each day if he is not having actual sex, and most of the characters are horny too. But it's better than just a sex novel. Give it a try! The publication date is in January 2023.
  7. Carlos looks good in Times Square, but he seems pretty anonymous.
  8. The Shards, by Bret Easton Ellis. 600 pages of sex and drugs.
  9. It feels strange to me that a website devoted to the company of men and often detailing our pleasure in sex would refer to an individual preference to be a bottom as a "shame." For me, the headline is the shame. I understand that some providers may not offer what one seeks, but there is nothing shameful about it.
  10. Wouldn't it be great if @Cooperattended the next event? Look at his avatar- he's already wearing his swim suit!
  11. I like athletic college guys, and many seem to fall into the twink category. At my age, this is all fantasy anyway. It is always nice if the person can carry on an intelligent conversation, thus the college prerequisite. In my dreams now.
  12. After a summer of injuries, Rortvedt has finally been called up, especially as catcher Jose Trevino shot some sperm nine months ago and is now on the paternity list. Rortvedt didn't play last night, but I am hopeful for today. The Yankees are essentially going with a minor league roster anyway.
  13. The NY Times recently referred to Palm Springs as the gayest city in the country. Yet trying to find a Mpox vaccine is impossible except for low income residents. I have been on a list for a few weeks not and not a peep from the health authorities.
  14. I saw Aaron Judge hit his 50th and 51st home runs.
  15. I am leaving town. Palm Springs will hit 116 this Wednesday!
  16. Money can make you hard, especially depending on your need!
  17. Who cares about Nick Cannon? I sure don't.
  18. Waiting in a boarding area at an airport, wearing my NY Yankee cap, a notice flashed on the board: "Remove all Yankee apparel before boarding." Clearly it was a prank, but I was too surprised to take a photo. I was there a couple more hours and the sign did not appear again.
  19. The feds have really fucked up on vaccine distribution: The federal government’s distribution of monkeypox vaccine has been blemished by missteps and confusion, burdening local officials and slowing the pace of immunizations even as the virus spreads, according to interviews with state health officials and documents obtained by The New York Times. Officials in at least 20 states and jurisdictions have complained about the delivery of the vaccine, called Jynneos... ... Jynneos is being disbursed from the National Strategic Stockpile by a different government agency under the Department of Health and Human Services. That agency was never set up to take ongoing orders, arrange deliveries from the stockpile, track shipments or integrate with state systems. Instead, the stockpile was designed to deliver massive amounts of vaccine to each state in response to a catastrophic event, according to a federal official with knowledge of the stockpile’s operations. 20. Kudos to dog lovers!!
  21. The capacity of the Field of Dreams is about 8000. Given the MLB and TV personnel, even fewer fans will get to see the game. So the opportunity for locals to see the game is indeed rare. First, you have to be able to afford the tickets! From NBC Sports: With a capacity of 8,000 at the Dyersville, Iowa, venue, the all-in price of the cheapest available ticket to see the Chicago Cubs face the Cincinnati Reds is $644 on TickPick, which is a no-fee secondary ticket marketplace. That $644 figure is around $30 less than what it would cost if you wanted to attend every remaining Cubs and Reds home game this season, according to TickPick. Meanwhile, the most expensive single Field of Dreams Game ticket currently available is $2,281. There's also a set of two tickets on sale for a staggering $4,582 each. The largest purchase made on TickPick was for a set of three tickets at $1,056 a pop, totaling $3,168. TickPick says the average purchase price for Field of Dreams Game tickets is $967. For comparison, the average purchase price this season for a ticket to a Cubs home game is $62 and to a Reds home game is $39. The average ticket purchase price is actually considerably down from last year's inaugural Field of Dreams Game, which had an average of $1,237. *** Lots of rich folks at this game!
