That's an unexplained 30% increase...from Consumer Reports. Aren't they supposed to be the good guys. And try calling them. The worst circus I have yet experienced. I never got a person. Okay, I detoured on percentage increases. But now I am paranoid to subscribe to something!

Well, when I went to Lowe's to buy a microwave, they said they had one of the model I desired in stock. Then he refused to sell it to me, saving they had to keep one in inventory as a rule. Steven Wright makes his debut as the author of The Coyotes of Carthage, a political novel involving big money, Southern decadence, and political cynicism. It's very well written and I highly recommend it. Wright is a Black author. His take on racism is excellent. The protagonist is also Black, but the novel involves the moneyed world of politics, and that's still mostly white.

Hopefully if you buy from a higher end store you won't need the customer service. Isn't that what they mean when they say "you get what you pay for?"

There was once an East Side bus terminal in Manhattan. I took the bus from the airport since my hotel was close by. Several empty seats, but I took the one next to a cute guy.
