Thank you all for the responses. @Pensant, you kind of hit the nail on the head. I am keen about meeting this gentleman but I have never met him previously; he does have good reviews though. So I am trying to figure out the best way to do so since I am not traveling to his city.

I’ll be traveling to Europe this summer and have been exchanging emails with a companion. I am interested in meeting in the city I’ll be visiting but of course I would need to cover his flight. Curious about ways to do so without buying the actual ticket. It looks like you can’t send gift cards outside the US due to changes in regulation. I guess I am just cautious that if I buy the ticket my personal info will be available. I appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

I can see why you might have taken it that way. It sounds like he changed his mind right after you gave him your stats and then he said he wasn’t looking for other bottoms as an excuse. It’s happened to me before where I give my stats to someone trying to set up a meeting and then they do a 180 almost immediately. I don’t take it personally anymore. Actually I prefer when they bluntly say “we’re not a match”. Sometimes it almost like asking for an actual date; you get rejected and need to move on... That’s also why i now only reach out to well reviewed guys. I have rarely had an issue with them and they tend to be extremely professional and don’t mind meeting a guy who is not super good looking .

I also met Rich. Very nice guy. Would meet with him again if the opportunity presented itself.

I have never had issues with hotel rooms in nyc. I do like larger rooms as small ones make me a bit claustrophobic
