  1. Published by Reuters UK By Ossian Shine and Simon Evans DOHA (Reuters) – Simmering tensions boiled to the surface at the FIFA congress on Thursday when Norway’s soccer chief Lise Klaveness hit out at the 2022 World Cup’s Qatari hosts over the country’s human rights record. The Norwegian Football Federation president, who became the body’s first female leader in its 120-year history when elected this month, said the World Cup had been awarded by FIFA “in unacceptable ways with unacceptable consequences”. “Human rights, equality, democracy, the core interests of football, were not in the starting 11 until many years la… Read More View the full article

The Maple Valley roots rocker has established herself as a perennial contender, earning nominations in at least one of the marquee categories three of the last four years, and perhaps more importantly, getting a coveted performance slot on the star-studded telecast that comes with it. In Carlile, the Recording Academy has a partner in a generation-bridging songwriter and performer who embodies the institution’s musical values, and is helping lead its MusiCares tribute to Joni Mitchell days before Sunday’s 64th Grammy Awards show… Read More View the full article
  3. Published by Reuters UK (Reuters) – Qatar World Cup chief executive Nasser Al-Khater has called for a meeting with Gareth Southgate after the England manager said he is unhappy some fans will not feel safe travelling to the event due to concerns over human rights issues in the country. Homosexuality is illegal in the Gulf state and there is also unease over women’s rights, while a report by Amnesty International found that thousands of migrant workers in the country were being exploited, which Qatar has denied. Southgate said this month it was a “great shame” there were issues stopping fans going to the World Cup, hi… Read More View the full article
  4. Published by Reuters WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Senator Susan Collins on Wednesday became the first Republican to declare support for President Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson, further boosting her prospects of becoming the first Black woman to serve on the top U.S. judicial body. Collins, considered a moderate Republican, disclosed her intention to vote in the Senate to confirm the federal appellate judge in a statement released by her office. The senator said she reviewed Jackson’s record, watched her testify during her Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing last week and met her twice in person, and concluded the judge possesses the “experience, qualifications and integrity” to serve in the lifetime post. Collins lamented what she called a disturbing trend of politicizing the judicial nomination process. “No matter where you fall on the ideological spectrum, anyone who has watched several of the last Supreme Court confirmation hearings would reach the conclusion that the process is broken,” she said. “In my view, the role the Constitution clearly assigns to the Senate is to examine the experience, qualifications, and integrity of the nominee. It is not to assess whether a nominee reflects the ideology of an individual Senator or would rule exactly as an individual Senator would want,” Collins added. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat, said last week the chamber was “on track” to confirm Jackson to the lifetime job before its expected break for Easter on April 8. Senator Joe Manchin, the most conservative Democrat in the Senate, announced last Friday that he would vote to confirm her, signaling that she will have the votes to overcome widespread Republican opposition. With a simple majority needed for confirmation and the Senate divided 50-50 between the parties, Jackson will get the job if Democrats remain united regardless of how the Republicans vote. Her confirmation would not alter the court’s ideological balance – it has a 6-3 conservative majority – but would let Biden freshen its liberal bloc with a 51-year-old jurist young enough to serve for decades. The Democratic president nominated Jackson last month to the lifetime post to succeed retiring liberal Justice Stephen Breyer. During her confirmation hearing, several Republican senators accused Jackson of being lenient when she served as a trial court judge on sentencing child pornography offenders. Jackson defended her sentencing record, and American Bar Association witnesses rejected the allegations that she was “soft on crime.” (Reporting by Will Dunham; editing by Jonathan Oatis) View the full article
  5. Published by Reuters By Barbara Goldberg (Reuters) -A Connecticut judge on Wednesday held conspiracy theorist Alex Jones in contempt and fined him $25,000 a day until he sits for a deposition in a defamation lawsuit filed by relatives of the victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting. Jones, founder of the right-wing Infowars website who claimed the shooting was a hoax, failed to comply with court orders to appear at a deposition on March 23 and 24, Connecticut Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis said during an online hearing. His lawyers had sought to explain his absence by claiming that “Jones was remaining at home under his doctor’s supervision when, in fact, he was working at his studios and broadcasting his show,” Bellis said, referring to a podcast produced by Jones. She set an April 15 deadline for Jones to complete a two-day deposition, a goal that would “purge” the contempt ruling. Starting April 1, the court would assess a fine of $25,000 each weekday until he sits for the deposition, the judge ruled. “Alex Jones willfully and in bad faith violated without justification several clear court orders requiring his attendance at his depositions,” the judge said. The defamation suit has already been decided in favor of the families of the shooting victims, with the judge saying in November that Jones defaulted by failing to provide documents and is responsible for damages to the plaintiffs. The online hearing on Wednesday took place a day after Sandy Hook families rejected an offer by Jones to pay $120,000 to each of the 13 plaintiffs to settle the lawsuit. The plaintiffs are suing Jones in response to his claims that the shooting, which left 20 children and six school employees dead, never happened. He had claimed the incident at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, was fabricated by gun-control advocates and mainstream media. In response, several parents sued Jones and Infowars, as well as its parent company, for defamation in both Austin, Texas and in Waterbury, Connecticut. Infowars is based in Texas. According to court records, his rejected offer to the plaintiffs included a statement that read in part: “Mr. Jones extends his heartfelt apology for any distress his remarks caused.” Each of the plaintiffs immediately turned down the offer, saying it was “a transparent and desperate attempt by Alex Jones to escape a public reckoning under oath with his deceitful, profit-driven campaign against the plaintiffs and the memory of their loved ones lost at Sandy Hook.” (Reporting by Barbara Goldberg in New YorkEditing by Marguerita Choy) View the full article

  7. Published by Reuters By Maria Caspani (Reuters) – Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt on Wednesday signed a Republican-backed bill banning transgender athletes from girls’ school sports, adding to a list of states that have passed or enacted similar laws. “We are protecting women’s sports, we’re ensuring a level playing field for female athletes,” Stitt, a Republican, said at a signing ceremony, surrounded by young female athletes. The so-called Save Women’s Sports Act applies to public schools in the state through college. Oklahoma joined 12 other states that have enacted legislation prohibiting transgender girls from participating and competing in girls’ sports in school. Similar bills that were passed in Arizona and Kentucky last week are awaiting action from the governors of those states. Opponents of these laws have characterized them as backed by conservative special interests to drum up support ahead of the midterm elections, when Republicans seek to win back a majority in the Senate and the House of Representatives. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated in 2019 that just 1.8% of high school students in the country are transgender, and the advocacy group Human Rights Campaign has said that according to surveys, only about 12% of them play on girls’ sports teams. Transgender rights have been pushed to the forefront of the culture wars playing out across the United States in recent years, together with issues such as reproductive rights. The Human Rights Campaign said it is tracking over 300 bills targeting the LGBTQ+ community that are currently moving across state legislatures, many specifically aimed at transgender youth. 8. Published by BANG Showbiz English Elliot Page’s character on ‘The Umbrella Academy’ will come out as a transgender. The 35-year-old actor says his character will transition – along with a new name – in the third season of the Netflix show based on the popular comic book series that follows seven siblings with supernatural powers. On Twitter, Elliot posted a still from the new season, writing: “Meet Viktor Hargreeves [umbrella emoji] @UmbrellaAcad”. Netflix added: “Welcome to the family Viktor – we’re so happy you’re here.” The streamer’s LGBTQ+ content page added: “FEELS SO GOOD TO SAY THIS: Elliot Page stars as Viktor Hargreeves in Umbrella Academy S3!!!” This direction for the ‘Juno’ star’’s character in season three – which will drop in the summer – matches his real life trajectory as he publicly came out as transgender back in 2020, admitting that he felt “lucky” to be able to do so. Elliot wrote on Instagram: “I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life.” He also shared how his mind “flourished” as he accepted his true gender identity. Elliot said: “I couldn’t believe the amount of energy I had, ideas, how my imagination flourished, because the constant discomfort and pain around that aspect of my body was gone.” In 2021, Elliot became the first transgender man to appear on the cover of Time magazine, where he shared what he was “anticipating” following his news. He told the magazine: “What I was anticipating was a lot of support and love and a massive amount of hatred and transphobia. That’s essentially what happened.” View the full article
  9. One thing I'll mention here is that if the image gallery is important to you... then I would recommend CONTRIBUTING. A lot of people love to say things are important to them, but very few are willing to put their money where their mouths are. (I'm not saying this about any specific person, but instead about the community as a whole.) Be sure to provide reactions to the images and post some images yourself. Simply counting on 4-5 people to carry the burden so to speak is unfair and unsustainable long term. I see this happen not just here, but EVERYWHERE on this site. When I originally asked for volunteers to help as we gear up for the new review site, there were VERY few people who wanted to help. Again... everyone loves reading the reviews, but no one wants to help make them happen. <steps off the soap box>
  10. Also... you can choose how pictures are sorted AND displayed. The Sort By dropdown lets you change how you see the images displayed. In addition, if you don't like the large thumbnail view and would prefer a more "traditional" list view, click the "Show as List" box that I show in the example above. It will make the image previews look like: This would make you click each image you're more interested in and trigger the "image read" icon.
  11. The most recent images are displayed FIRST. This is different than a forum topic where the oldest are displayed first. Typically when viewing an album, most people prefer to see the newest stuff first because they've generally seen the older stuff. If not, they just keep scrolling to see it all.
  12. Yes, there is an indicator when scrolling through images. When viewing an album such as: Your view should by default look something like: The black dot to the left of the image caption (in this case "Sexy feet and the it gets even better") indicates that the image has not been seen previously. Clicking on the image gives you details about it. For example any comments or reactions. It also lets you rate the image, etc.

  14. “Don’t Say Gay” Bill Becomes Law The widely criticized “Don’t Say Gay” bill is now law after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the bill into law on Monday amongst a gathering of conservative lawmakers, students and parents. The measure will go into effect on July 1. DeSantis’ signature comes after months of national outcry over the chilling effect the bill poses for LGBTQ students in Florida, educators and classroom instruction and discussion of LGBTQ topics. The Parental Rights in Education bill explicitly prohibits the teaching of sexual orientation and gender identity in grades K-3 and bans similar discussions at all grade levels if done “in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.” DeSantis signed the bill during a ceremony held at Classical Preparatory School, a K-12 charter school in Spring Hill, FL that wouldn’t be subject to measure. The bill allows parents to file civil suits against school districts and school employees if they deem a topic of discussion about LGBTQ individuals or topics isn’t appropriate for their child regardless of the student’s age. “This kind of ever-present possibility of having to defend oneself, of a school district having to spend resources, will have its own chilling effects,” Copeland said. “If a student raises a question that is not part of the lesson plan or the instructional plan of a teacher, but that question ties to sexual orientation or gender identity, then what may the teacher say at that point?” added Clay Calvert, University of Florida Levin College of Law professor. Smith, like others, signaled that the fight to repeal the bill will continue. “The battle against #DontSayGay is far from over,” he said in a statement. “To those LGBTQ youth in Florida and around the world struggling to find support, just know that you are loved exactly the way you are and we’ll continue to fight for you every single day because your lives are worth fighting for.” Don’t Say Gay: Previously on Towleroad Florida Gov. 15. Published by Radar Online Mega Roman Abramovich, the Russian oligarch who was forced to give up ownership of Chelsea Football Club due to sanctions placed on him in connection to his close ties to Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin, has reportedly suffered symptoms of poisoning after taking part in peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. According to Daily Star, the 55-year-old billionaire and Ukrainian peace negotiators are victims of suspected poisoning shortly after their talks to deescalate the increasingly violent invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces. Mega In early March, Abramovich reportedly traveled between Russia’s capital of Moscow, the Ukraine city of Lviv, and Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv, along with other peace negotiators, in an attempt to end the Russia/Ukraine conflict. Soon after appearing in Moscow, both Abramovich and two senior members of the Ukrainian delegation allegedly began experiencing symptoms that would suggest they were poisoned. Mega While some of the symptoms were minor — such as red eyes and constant tearing — other signs they experienced were much more severe, including painful burning and substantial skin peeling from their faces and hands. Abramovich and the two Ukrainian delegates are reportedly doing better as their symptoms improve every day; however, there are also reports that the suspected poisoning attack was carried out by a radical group of Russians while the peace negotiators were in Moscow. At this time, poison experts are reportedly investigating the potential poisonings to determine if the symptoms were caused by a chemical agent, a biological agent, or even possibly an electromagnetic-radiation attack. As Radar reported, Abramovich was just one of the many Russian oligarchs to be sanctioned by Western nations shortly after Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine on February 24. Mega “These oligarchs, businesses and hired thugs are complicit in the murder of innocent civilians and it is right that they pay the price,” British Secretary of State Liz Truss said at the time while announcing the sanctions being put in place against specific Russian individuals. “Putin should be under no illusions – we are united with our allies and will keep tightening the screw on the Russian economy to help ensure he fails in Ukraine. There will be no let-up.” Following Abramovich’s assets being frozen due to the recently placed sanctions, Chelsea Football Club is technically owned by the British government until the Russian billionaire finds a new buyer for the team. 16. Published by Radar Online Mega Bob Sagetis gone, but his legacy will never be forgotten if his fans have their way. Furious Academy Award watchers took to social media and aired out their grievances after the late comedian was snubbed during the Oscars in memoriam segment on Sunday night. Saget is known for his iconic television role as Danny Tanner on Full House, but some might be unaware that he has an Academy Award win under his belt. The actor — who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65 on February 9 — scored a student Oscar in 1977 for his documentary, Through Adam’s Eyes. He was only 21 years old at the time. Saget also appeared in a handful of movies, including Richard Pryor’s 1987 film Critical Condition. Mega While the Oscars failed to include the Academy Award winner, his fans made their displeasure over the decision known. “No Bob Saget #Inmemoriam ? Really lame, #Oscars,” one person wrote on Twitter. “Actually leaving Bob Saget out of the In Memoriam was the most outrageous part of the Oscars,” shared another. Others pointed out that Saget wasn’t the only star not included. The Oscars also snubbed Norm Macdonald, who appeared in movies like Dr. Dolittle, Grown Ups, Billy Madison, and more. Macdonald died in September at the age of 61 after a battle with cancer. The program also forgot Ed Asner, Sex and the City star Willie Garson, Robert Downey Jr.’s director father, Robert Downey Sr, and others. Mega “They didn’t do Bob Saget or Norm Macdonald or Monica Vitti this is bulls—,” someone tweeted. “Norm Macdonald and Bob Saget weren’t in the Oscar death montage. Perhaps it’s because they weren’t primarily known as “movie people.” Or perhaps it’s because, despite this, they made the greatest movie of all time, Dirty Work (1998), and Hollywood never forgave them for it,” posted another. As Radar reported, Saget’s body was discovered inside his Ritz-Carlton hotel room in Orlando, Florida, last month. The stand-up comedian reportedly fell, hitting his head on something before going to bed. He never woke up. According to the medical examiner, he died of head trauma. Law enforcement’s working theory is that Saget nailed his head on the headboard of his bed, but some experts believe evidence photos taken at the scene paint a different picture. 17. Published by Radar Online Fred Duval/MEGA; ZapatA/MEGA Fans sent an outpouring of loving comments to Liza Minnelli after Lady Gaga accompanied the film legend on stage in a wheelchair while presenting Best Picture at the 2022 Oscars. The two performers handed out Sunday night’s biggest award at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, sharing a sweet moment that was likely missed by some due to the Will Smith and Chris Rock saga. MEGA Minnelli was celebrating the 50th anniversary of Cabaret, and Gaga was more than happy to help her throughout their presenting duties during the 94th Academy Awards. When the acclaimed EGOT winner sorted through her note cards on stage and said, “I don’t understand,” Gaga kindly told her, “I got it,” before announcing the nominees. CODA ultimately took home the coveted prize. “Oh #lizaminnelli,” one fan tweeted with a crying emoji. “Thank goodness for @ladygaga literally taking her by the hand & leading her through that. It was hard to see her looking so very frail. #Oscars2022.” Fred Duval/MEGA; ZapatA/MEGA “I can only hope and pray that when or if I’m BLESSED enough to reach the age of #LizaMinnelli someone whispers in my ear… ‘I got you’ like @ladygaga just did,” another wrote. “To end a chaotic night with such a beautiful example of companionship, love and togetherness … yeah, this is what we should remember about these awards,” a third tweeted as many others praised their heartwarming exchange, raving over how Gaga “comforted a visibly nervous Minnelli.” RAMEY PHOTO AGENCY Doctors predicted in 2000 that Minnelli would spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair after suffering a case of viral encephalitis, but she still managed to perform her solo show Liza’s Back following her diagnosis, illustrating yet again how the star has always been a force to be reckoned with. “She’s a survivor,”Marisa Berenson, who portrayed Natalia Landauer in Cabaret and has been one of Minnelli’s closest friends for nearly half a century, told Variety. “She’s like a phoenix, always spreading her wings and being reborn. I think she’s one of the strongest people I know. It’s really glorious to watch. She does have this incredible strength and courage.” View the full article
  18. Published by Radar Online Mega Will Smith will reportedly not be facing any charges after slapping Chris Rock in the face during the Oscars in retaliation for a joke the comedian made about the actor’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. The news that Rock will not be pressing charges also comes following claims made by rapper Diddy suggesting that the two celebrities quickly made up after the Academy Awards ceremony ended. As Radar reported, while Rock presented the award for Best Documentary at the 94th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, he made a joke that Will and Jada were not amused about. Mega “Jada, love you, G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it,” Rock joked about Jada’s bald head — a look that she sports after emotionally revealing she suffers from alopecia. While Smith seemingly laughed at the joke, his demeanor quickly changed. Seconds later, he was on the stage and slapping Rock across the face before returning to his seat and telling the comedian: “Keep my wife’s name out of your f—ing mouth!” Mega The LAPD was on the scene at the time of the assault and reportedly spoke to Rock immediately after the ceremony ended — which is when the comedian allegedly chose not to press charges against Smith for smacking him in front of not only the entire Dolby Theatre, but also millions of viewers watching from home. “LAPD investigative entities are aware of an incident between two individuals during the Academy Awards program,” the department revealed in a statement after speaking with Rock. “The incident involved one individual slapping another,” they continued. “The individual involved has declined to file a police report. If the involved party desires a police report at a later date, LAPD will be available to complete an investigative report.” While Rock opted not to press charges against Smith, he reportedly still has up to six months to file a report if he were to change his mind on the matter. According to Diddy, that seems unlikely. The stand-up comic and the King Richard Oscar winner allegedly made up and put the whole situation behind them shortly after the Academy Awards ceremony ended. Mega “That’s not a problem. That’s over. I can confirm that,” Diddy reportedly told Page Six regarding Rock and Smith making up at the Vanity Fair after-party. “It’s all love. They’re brothers.” While the comedian and actor reportedly worked their beef out after the show, many are wondering why Smith — who apologized to a slew of people during his acceptance speech after winning the Best Actor award for King Richard — chose not to include Rock in his apology. “I want to apologize to the Academy. I want to apologize to all of my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment, and I’m not crying for winning an award,” Smith said. “It’s not about winning an award for me; it’s about being able to shine a light on all of the people.” View the full article
  19. Published by Radar Online Mega Kirill Shamalov, the former son-in-law to Russian President Vladimir Putin, has reportedly fled Moscow for Dubai along with the wealthy daughter of one of Putin’s top generals. The news of Shamalov fleeing Russia comes just days after the Russian billionaire businessman and former economic advisor was sanctioned by the West for his close links to Putin, Moscow, and the Kremlin as the country continues the invasion into their neighboring nation of Ukraine. Mega According to Daily Star, 40-year-old Shamalov and his 33-year-old partner Anastasia Zadorina reportedly made their secret move from Russia to the United Arab Emirates sometime last week in the wake of the latest sanctions against him and a number of Russian oligarchs. Shamalov was formerly married to Putin’s 35-year-old acrobat daughter Katerina Tikhonova before the two split up in 2018 after five years of marriage. Now, Shamalov – who is widely considered Russia’s youngest billionaire – has been in a relationship with Zadorina, who just happens to be the daughter of a top general in the Russian Federal Security Service. But while Shamalov seemingly escaped the sanctions recently placed on him by the United States and other Western countries, his fleeing of Russia with Zadorina evidently came as no surprise, because just last week she reportedly hosted a luxurious and exclusive 40th birthday party for him in Dubai. Mega “While everyone in the country is tightening their belts, and business and industry are entrusted with key roles in saving the economy, Vladimir Putin’s former son-in-law, billionaire shareholder of Sibur [a Russian petrochemicals giant] Kirill Shamalov, is burning his life,” a Russian telegram channel recently revealed. “[His 40th birthday party] was only for the elite and was held in conditions of increased secrecy, given the current events in Ukraine”, the program continued. “Along with Shamalov, guests were received by his new passion – FSB general’s daughter Anastasia Zadorina. Sources say there will be a wedding soon.” As Radar reported, Putin’s former son-in-law is hardly the only Russian to be sanctioned by the West because of links to the Kremlin. On Thursday, the “step-daughter” of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was sanctioned and banned from the United Kingdom in connection to her suspected ties to both Lavrov and Moscow. Mega Polina Kovaleva, who is the daughter of Lavrov’s alleged mistress and “unofficial wife,” is suspected of benefitting from Lavrov’s position of power in the Russian government. Many also believe her multi-million-dollar Kensington, England flat was paid for by Lavrov and, despite being sanctioned and therefore banned from the United Kingdom, the 26-year-old is still reportedly living in Kensington View the full article

  22. Published by BANG Showbiz English Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Skyes joked they’d been hired to host the Oscars because they were “cheaper” than hiring a single male presenter. The three women were introduced to the stage by DJ Khaled at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Sunday (27.03.22) after Beyonce’s performance of ‘Be Alive’, and the trio wasted no time in poking fun at themselves and the evening’s nominees. Wanda dismissed the event as being the place “where movie lovers unite and watch TV”, before Amy quipped: “This year, the Academy hired three women to host because it’s cheaper than hiring one man.” Regina declared she and Wanda were there to be “representing Black women who are standing proud.” Amy quipped: “I represent unbearable white women who call the cops when you get a little too loud.” Academy Awards bosses have faced criticism for handing out eight prizes before the live broadcast, and the stage flights flickered as Wanda joked: “It was a controversial and difficult decision, but I think we’ve moved on.” The trio then turned their attention to poking fun at Hollywood stars. Wanda said: “There was a lot of snubs this year: Rachel Zegler for ‘West Side Story’, Jennifer Hudson for ‘Respect’ and Lady Gaga and Jared Leto for ‘House of Random Accent.” Amy then said: “You know what’s in the In Memoriam package this year? The Golden Globes. They didn’t have any Black people, they didn’t have any Black members.” Regina added: “No. They had to go.” Poking fun at Best Picture nominee ‘The Power of the Dog’, Wanda said: “I watched that movie three times, and I’m halfway through it.” At the end of their monologue, the women said “gays” a number of times, calling out Florida’s so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill. Wanda said: “We’re going to have a great night tonight. for you people in Florida, we’re going to have a gay night.” Following a commercial break, Amy returned to the stage alone to mock some more of the year’s biggest films. She said: “This is so exciting. I just want to congratulate all of you. During a raging pandemic, you made a movie. Give yourselves a hand, that’s incredible. You did it. It’s huge. “And yet they weren’t all great, right? A lot of them were pretty hard to understand. You know who you are. I didn’t see many of them.” She turned her attention to star-studded movie ‘Don’t Look Up’, which starred her friend Jennifer Lawrence – who recently gave birth to her first child – and Leonardo DiCaprio, She said: “I guess the Academy members don’t look up reviews. Wait a minute. I loved that movie. Jennifer Lawrence was amazing in it. Even though she did gain some weight this year. “I mean, Leonardo DiCaprio, what can I even say about him? He’s done so much to fight climate change and leave behind a cleaner, greener planet for his girlfriends. Because he’s older. And they’re younger. Okay, you get it.” Of ‘Being the Ricardos’, she said: “The innovation to make a movie about Lucille Ball without even a moment that’s funny. Not your fault, Nicole [Kidman] — you’re great.” Regina later returned to the stage in which she claimed to be calling up attendees for an extra COVID-19 test, but they all turned out to be handsome stars including Bradley Cooper, Timothee Chalamet, Tyler Perry and Simu Liu, though she rejected a call to bring Javier Bardem to the stage, noting he was with his wife Penelope Cruz. But then she called for Will Smith and said: “You’re married, but you know what, you’re on the list and looks like Jada [Pinkett Smith] approved you, so you get on up here!” But the ‘King Richard’ star waved his hands and declined.
