  1. Jagger may look like many miles of rough road now, but back in the 1960s he was good-looking as well as sexy.
  2. Equal time for cats: (This could well be a direct quote from my cat.)
  3. Speaking of Mick Jagger, is anyone familiar with this song? Seems a little inconsistent with his later aggressively heterosexual image. And yes, I'm familiar with the story about Angie Bowie finding him and David Bowie naked in bed together upon her return from an out-of-town trip.
  4. I am clearly a terrible person because I find this photo of a friend's dog pouting over wearing an Elizabethan collar hilarious. (The dog's been licking a spot on her leg, hence the collar.)
  5. Puppy or bagel is even more confusing than chihuahua or muffin. Source
  6. @quoththeraven you are correct that the original expression is equal to zero. That's part of the trick in these proofs. Using letters instead of actual numbers, people often lose sight of that. As far as I'm concerned, the whole thing could have stopped there. Here's another punny joke: Source
  7. Must have been someone else. It's been awhile since I've dealt with these types of equations, but I'm not seeing how x squared minus x squared is equal to (x+x) (x-x). It's the (x+x) that I don't understand the justification for. Doesn't this whole thing start with 0=0 (x squared minus x squared of necessity equals zero)?
  8. I don't think that's the error. Line 2 is incorrect, specifically the part after the equal sign.
  9. No, it's the medical term for his condition, although "little person" or "LP" may be more popular or common.
  10. Why not? Dinklage reportedly uses the term "dwarf." "Midget" is considered pejorative. Other terms are discussed here. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwarfism#Terminology
  11. For me, Peter Dinklage and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) are what GoT brings to the table.
  12. I don't think averages work like that... Still funny, though.
  13. We don't have the facilities for a CAT scan, but we can certainly retrieve a lab report. Source
  14. His character in Jurassic Park was the only one with a lick of sense.
  15. Size isn't the most important thing. Apologies for using this word again, but in my experience, vaginal sex with anyone whose erection is over 5-1/2 to 6 inches in length requires preparation, patience and adjustment if it's not to be a painful experience, kinda like the way you might prepare in order to bottom for someone with a greater-than-average-sized cock, or any cock when it comes to cleanout routines. I have had plenty of fun with men whose erections were more in the 5" range. The biggest advantage I see to larger sizes (within reason) is aesthetic. They just look good. As impressive as Fassbender's flaccid penis is, and as unimpressive as Sarsgaard's is, that doesn't tell anyone anything about them as lovers or objects of lust. Sure, it's nice to be able to boast about taking a ten-incher, but that's more sex as competition than sex as fun. Moreover, if you had Sarsgaard's body, including his penis, would you be willing to bare all? It may take more guts for him to bare all, despite the good physical shape he's in, than for the well-endowed Fassbender.
  16. Not as well-endowed as Fassbender, though. Perhaps Sarsgaard is a grower and Fassbender is a shower.
  17. Yup, that middle one is the embrace right before Mikkelsen/Lecter literally sticks it to Dancy/Graham. The near-crucifixion is a gift to those with kinky proclivities.
  18. Here, have some Hugh Dancy cock, or at least balls. Yes, he's clothed, but it's fucking network TV! To me, that makes it even hotter. http://www.companyofmen.org/threads/mesmerizing-video-of-actor-hugh-dancy.100007/ Then there are the gifs of a bound, semi-crucified Mads Mikkelsen, an embrace between him and Hugh Dancy just before Mikkelsen's character stabs him (which executive producer Bryan Fuller cheekily referred to as penetration), and the near-kiss in the final episode. When it comes to beautiful men, Hannibal was a gift.

  20. Apropos of discussions about smartphone usage and lack of social interaction: Source (strip is from webcomic xkcd)
  21. That's more concise and understandable than most abstracts.
  22. Have you seen the "visualize whirled peas" bumper sticker? I always got a kick out of them.
