For those of us who live with cats, every day is cat scan day. A college friend attended a Halloween party held in our dining hall as a flasher. He wore a raincoat, swimshorts, and a Coke bottle. I don't remember how the Coke bottle was held in place. For someone reasonably intelligent, he had some weird ideas, such as that it was a good idea to drop acid and wander around the hilly nature preserve behind campus (ultimately he didn't do it) or to light his farts. He singed himself doing the latter.

Did he name it that from inception? If so, one wonders why he bought it in the first place.

Aka "a boat is a hole in the water into which one pours money."

And then they wonder why no woman wants to talk to them and mutter about being friendzoned.

Whose mother are you?

I have to qualify my "like" with "shaking my head" for the implied slut-shaming.

Responses when you ask for a '3-fingered selfie'.

I get the selfie idea, but where do three fingers come in? Isn't this like proof of life photos where you want some proof of date? -
What band had you hooked from the first song you heard from them?

Notice how none of them is Diana Ross? She had the personality; they had the chops. -

Or anything by CCR, really. -

Sorry; remembered one more. In this case, I went to a Eurythmics concert and left a Howard Jones fan. Not that I didn't like the Eurythmics anymore, but they were less...dynamic than Mr. Jones, who at that time produced all the music himself and was only joined by mime Jed Hoile. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo_kSBxK5WE Also, the lyrics to the song may be relevant to questions that frequently arise here. -

This is not the first time I've mentioned this, but I was privileged to see the Doors in concert (my first rock concert! my dad took me) in the summer of 1968 just before they toured Europe with the Jefferson Airplane. They alternated who was the opening act and who the headliner. One night during the tour, Grace Slick slept with Jim Morrison. She tells the story in the chapter in her autobiography titled "Strawberry Fuck." He must have been drunk off his gourd, because as she recounts it he was barely articulate. (Interestingly, she had her own problems with alcohol.) My dad said he liked the music. I always wondered if he paid any attention to the words, especially "The End." -

I heard Judy Collins' version of "Suzanne" before Cohen's, but I like both. -

Was that their first single? At any rate, I loved their first album. It's genius. And I was living in the Boston area at the time. The Doors, "Light My Fire" (RIP, Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek) Jefferson Airplane, "Somebody to Love," Woodstock version Renaissance, "Prologue" - not my favorite song of theirs, but probably the first one I heard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzAmqbpD4QA I'm more of a CSNY fan myself. -
He's not ugly, exactly, but there's something so repellent about him. Give me 1D (yes, I know they broke up) any day. I'd rather go on a "Sex Trip" with Jay Park (warning: audio is NSFW; song is 100% in English): Though those red sneakers are an unexpected fashion choice. And yep, he has tats all over his left torso and arm. BTW, while Park, who owns and runs his own record label, is based in South Korea, he's a US native (and citizen) who grew up in Seattle.

In Honor of National Masturbation Month

Actually, one of the stars is in the GIF. That's Karl Urban's back. (Karl Urban's character is Det. Kennex and is fully human.) The other guy was playing a humanoid low-level police officer who's more robotic/doll-like than the character played by Michael Ealy; that contrast was the point of the whole episode. (Guest star, basically.) Those scenes were very, shall we say, homoerotic in tone? -

It's a one-season Fox show called Almost Human that starred Karl Urban and Michael Ealy. -

I just realized I know the show the gif is from. That was a hilarious episode. -

If your posts are to be believed, that's no different from what you do the rest of the time. -

Funny, I was tempted recently to buy a pair of undies that said "smart ass" on the back. -

Lefty here, but I mostly use my right hand because I have better range of motion with my right arm. Otherwise, it wouldn't natter. I can use either hand. I doubt that the fact that I play sports right-handed has any bearing on this. (Most lefties are partially ambidextrous like that.) I believe in some societies, masturbation is accomplished with the non-dominant hand so as not to besmirch the dominant hand. -

So are you an exhibitionist, or do you suffer from dissociative identity disorder? (Yes, I'm being a smart aleck.) -

I counted three hands there. Or do you let go of the balls or taint when you rip off the clover clamps? -
The thread celebrating May being National Masturbation Month inspires me to ask: When and under what circumstances did you first spank the monkey, tickle the pickle, jack off, or whatever other colorful euphemism you apply to the glorious act of masturbation? As for me: I discovered masturbation sometime between age 9-11 (most likely age 10) completely by accident. How and why it happened is convoluted, and I'm foggy on some of the details.

By "not directly scanned," I meant I have to hunt for it on the display, but that's time-consuming. It can take several tries before the screen will advance. I may have to hop around to find the right entry.
