After Sex Do You Sleep Nude Or Wear Something?
+ quoththeraven replied to + Avalon's topic in Questions About Hiring
It's TV censorship. The idea that women regularly keep their bras on 24/7 is particularly laughable. A lot of us can't wait to get out of the damn things. (Porn also presents a skewed picture for apparent fetish and aesthetic reasons.) Outside of sexytimes, I don't sleep completely naked. The closest I get is sleeping without a top when it's hot. Otherwise I wear a variety of sleeveless and short-sleeved sleep and loungewear. Anything long-sleeved is too warm once I'm under the covers. -

After Sex Do You Sleep Nude Or Wear Something?
+ quoththeraven replied to + Avalon's topic in Questions About Hiring
I applaud them, but they're rare. They're often even coyer with women. An mmf threesome on the NBC show The Following was particularly laughable in that regard because Emma kept her bra on while Jacob and Paul were at least shirtless. -

You are asking a question based on a TV show? They're generally not going to show nude people getting out of bed. -
Science and math are considered objective, useful and trendy. Everything else, less so. The idea that science and math ability is necessarily innate or that other disciplines take time is laughable, particularly as applied to the arts. Google just did a study of its employees and their backgrounds and discovered expertise in STEM/technical prowess was the least important factor. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/answer-sheet/wp/2017/12/20/the-surprising-thing-google-learned-about-its-employees-and-what-it-means-for-todays-students/?utm_term=.08d7bf88c764

1. There is no such thing as an alpha male. The wolf studies on which this term is based have been discredited. 2. But since perception is more powerful than reality and placebo effect is real, why complicate things this way? 3. Why are you covering up your fetish for straight men by referring to alpha males as if gay and bisexual men can't exhibit the overbearing/domineering/decisive traits associated with the term alpha male?

I have no idea how much snow there was because it all blew around.

My two cents: contemplating this is just tying oneself up in knots needlessly. (Or watching angels dance on the head of a pin, to use a metaphor someone else used in another thread.)

This result was dictated by the Supreme Court decision in the case of the rock group The Slants (Matal v. Tam). https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/06/19/533514196/the-slants-win-supreme-court-battle-over-bands-name-in-trademark-dispute I agree with the outcome of The Slants' case but not with the wholesale invalidation of the disparagement provisions on First Amendment grounds.

Any advice/directions for deepthroating
+ quoththeraven replied to JackSpar's topic in Questions About Hiring
No, that's not the right term, either. More like I'm expecting imminent unconsciousness, which would at least have the benefit of relieving my discomfort and panic and enable my partner to get a clue. -

It's more a state of frozen internal panic, but yes. -
Any advice/directions for deepthroating
+ quoththeraven replied to JackSpar's topic in Questions About Hiring
I've done that, but I need air almost immediately, which defeats the purpose. If that's the only kind of oral one's partner likes, then it's going to be off the menu entirely for me. -

+ quoththeraven replied to JackSpar's topic in Questions About Hiring
Can we have a definition of terms here? There's fast-paced thrusting in and out and then there's going deep and staying there. I think of the former as face-fucking and the latter as deep-throating. I haven't really experienced the former; the latter is pretty much a no-go for me because I can't breathe. I have intermittent breathing problems already; adding to them isn't fun for me. -

Yes, I know. But that shouldn't affect the ability to find him on the dropdown menu. -
Why Do So Many Escorts Label Themselves Bisexual?
+ quoththeraven replied to + Gar1eth's topic in Questions About Hiring
I dislike putting people and groups in boxes using labels and stereotypes but appreciate having information about individual people, books, etc. because it improves the chances of finding what I'm looking for. It's the difference between using labels to limit people and put them down and using them to meet your needs/desires. That's a functional difference, not a semantic one. -

Ran across this essay and thought it might spark a discussion or provide food for thought. Usual disclaimer: no one person's experience is representative of everyone else, etc., but it's also probably not completely unique. https://intomore.com/you/The-Girl-I-Loved-While-In-The-Closet/602f0e52cee74997

As you probably remember, I'm the opposite of you on the subject of androgyny. A sizeable number of women are, perhaps because it may be viewed as an indicator that he doesn't subscribe to toxic masculinity (ie, is less likely to be a threat) and is more broadminded than the norm. Or maybe that we prefer female beauty norms to male ones. I'm sure there are Asian men more to your preference with full lips. I used the two examples that most readily came to mind. And I don't consider John Boyega particularly attractive, but his lips are thicker than those of the first person I thought of, Idris Elba. (So even my preferences are flexible.) Certain South Asian men have a wonderful combination of beauty and traits considered masculine. Not sure, but I suspect they may originate from a specific region. I don't know enough to identify which or where, though. Once again, beauty (or whatever) is in the eye of the beholder.

If you've tried therapy, was it worth the $$$?
+ quoththeraven replied to + FreshFluff's topic in The Lounge
I've never found a therapist who was more helpful than working through things myself was. But I'm also both introspective and impatient. Also non-directive therapists drive me crazy. -
