I have had only good experiences, especially with Overstock.com. I ordered 3 large area rugs (8.5 X 11 and 2 even larger). Two came in perfect condition, no problem; 3rd came and had a big crease down the middle when unrolled, like at one time it had been folded. I called about returning it for a replacement of the same item but I had torn the plastic it was rolled in. They said no problem, just wrap it in heavy duty trash bags and duct tape, making sure the ends were sealed and they would pick it up when they delivered the new one. Came off without a hitch 5 days later; new one was fine.

Patient Dies After Being Turned Away For Being 10 Minutes Late
+ Funguy replied to + Avalon's topic in The Lounge
I know of clinics where, if the patient is even 5 minutes late, they are turned away. BUT, at each one, vital signs are taken if the child is in an "emergent situation," and if abnormal they are put in a room to be seen - maybe 20 minutes or maybe an hour depending on how sick the child is. If vital signs are normal they are referred to Urgent Care or given an appt for the next day. I have always objected - 5 or 10 minutes late is nothing. An hour late is something else. I have also always pointed out to the Clinic Directors that, if they take vital signs, it is tantamount to accepting that patient for that visit. -
I think I have been discriminated against at work

If you decide to keep working, perhaps the guarantee of a really good letter of recommendation would be worth more $ than you will probably get. -
I had Chubb for my house - they were fantastic when I had a fire. Shelled out oodles for me and my two dogs to live for the next 22 months until I could move back in. (Hotel for 7 months, incl. restaurants for breakfast and dinner and a rental house for 15 months.) After moving back in my premium actually went DOWN due to some of the methods/materials used in the rebuild! And yes, the rates for Chubb were higher than most companies but the service was well worth it!

One of my best "looks" (so I've been told) is my black tux, black wing collar shirt, black-on-black bow tie, and my black-on-black patterned velvet vest. All still fit perfectly after almost 20.years!

Ever Get Anything Stuck Up Your Ass You Couldn't Remove?
+ Funguy replied to + Avalon's topic in The Lounge
As a resident in the ER - a guy came in with a bowling pin. -
I actually have 2 - one is regular cut and the other is double breasted. I have found that a tux which is owned is much better tailored and, let's face it, looks far better than the rented variety. Lest you ask, why 2? My dad's happened to fit me perfectly except for sleeves and pants length and so I inherited it even tho I had one already. Now, if I feel like getting extra dressy and wearing a vest, I use the single breasted, or if I want to just look spiffy, the double. Oh, and the vest is black velvet, custom made, and really nice!

Over the past 2-3 years I have texted him a few times per year - never had a response. Yes, I did include all the pertinent info. I have now given up.

Why why why why do you guys pay up front?! I have to say, I have never been asked for up front payment; in fact, at the end, I am the one who brings up the subject. No escort has ever even asked or said that will be $x. Since I always go over, and "my" guys never watch the clock, I am forever asking, "How much do I owe you?" I've never put it in an envelop, never put it on the dresser, etc. I always go to their place, be it apartment or hotel, and there is never a reason for them to leave the premises. on several occasions, I have been the one to go out to my car to retrieve the payment and none has ever accompanied me.

Going to give a friend a massage... any advice?
+ Funguy replied to + 7829V's topic in Spas & Masseurs
Coconut oil is one of the best ideas, it is also good FOR the skin and some escorts also use it for lube. It moisturizes the skin and then seals the moisture into the skin. You get the good effects even after the massage and you wipe the excess oil off. As an aside - I once had an escort greet me at his door totally naked and covered with coconut oil. As we went slip-sliding away, the smell was intoxicating! Using as lube and some rimming was incredible so you can enjoy all uses of this product. Much better than the Nutragena! -
How about therapy?

Escorts, what defines a "good" client?
+ Funguy replied to mentalkink's topic in Questions About Hiring
For goodness sake, these are simply common courtesies. Anybody who can't do/not these things was simply not raised right! I try to be the best example that I can be to these generous guys. And yes, at least to me they are all generous. -
I could go with that! Especially with a bit of rimming. Now, to feel really decadent, add just a dab (or is it daub) of truffle oil!
-
Yes, they are. And they sometimes end up in - well, I shouldn't be the one to say!

1 ibuprofen would do NOTHING for me. I would have to become part of the opioid epidemic! How do you guys do it?

Happiest of B-days to you. I hope you did something FUN!

All of my masseurs start with the sensual/erotic stuff while I am face down, so that's pretty much in the first 15-20 minutes of a 90 minute massage. As soon as that starts, and I always let him start first, I think it's fair game to reciprocate and none have turned me away. Even before I turn over, everything is in play!

Go to the ruins at Tikal!

Well, how did THAT happen?

A number of you guys have wondered about Glennnn and I just spoke to him again this morning - he is doing well, sorting out life and trying to keep busy. I mentioned that people have asked about him and he was very appreciative. I may get to see him next month if he makes it up here.

It's a wonderful idea but the airlines would classify it as a weapon. Maybe put it in a carrying case and place it under the seat in front of you. But then that defeats the purpose: that is, you need to stroke it during take-off and landing. OOPs - you already have something to stroke.

Keep in the holding pattern for LA!

unfortunately, you would be amazed at how many people are afraid of dogs in any size, shape, and color!

I will attest to that. The man moves heaven and earth to accommodate his clients, makes sure he is at his appointments bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready to rumble. He might even leave his door ajar while he is in the shower so you join him.
