Well said.... er, written. I’ve been thinking many of these statements. When or how will it end?

I feel that way on every birthday. Birthdays lately seem to be anticlimactic. Media always show birthdays as huge celebrations regardless of age. My experience is never the case. Because of that, I always get depressed. Well, more depressed than I usually am. It usually passes in a few days. It will get better.

I can understand your frustration to the postings of some of the members of the forum. I can get that way too, at times. But, I just let it “roll off my back.” I remind myself that I really don’t know these people and they, more importantly, don’t know me. Don’t leave the forum due to some members. Unfortunately, the team mentality is universal. Just look at what’s going on with the election. We are immersed in team mentality from early childhood. I don’t think we can ever get away from it. I’m not sure what to say to make it easier. I’m sorry!

The “Purple” tier is the most restrictive. It allows restaurants to serve only outside. No theaters, museums, zoos, etc. Hair salons were given special allowance to stay open without manicure services. Breakfast at resorts should be fine since they are typically outside.

Palm Springs does have Uber and taxicabs. Most places are fairly close. You can easily get by without a car. If you are interested in seeing sites such as the aerial tram, Joshua Tree, Living Desert, you’ll want a car.

Jockless here! I don’t know a stick from a cleat! And, yes, I cringed at the mention of PE. One time I told the coach I had asthma so I didn’t have to play. (Forty-five years later, I have asthma!). I’d do anything to get out of the shame of playing sports. I can even say that the only non-‘A’ I received throughout my academic life was a ‘C’ in, you guessed it, PE. Now, you want me to leave the room, just start talking sports!

Sounds like scamming to me. Either that, or he’s projecting his self-anger for not being able to perform. If that’s the case he has a lot to work on. Personally, there is little that a provider could do to me to undermine my life other than a little embarrassment. Even when I had a job and a future, I never thought I was doing anything wrong.
