Perusing Rentmen ads reveals a number of March and April reviews of providers, so there must still be a fair amount of hiring going on.

Same with Rentmasseur, including a number of guys in NYC.

A provider in NYC who I had texted with before once or twice but had never seen reached out to me and said that he had Covid - 19 already, but it was a mild case and he was fully recovered. He was open to meeting up if I was comfortable doing so, but I am not at the moment so will wait.

Unfortunate that I tried to reach out to Gustavo on two separate occasions, but got the silent treatment. I can only wonder what the experience would be now. ☹️

Wow. I’ve never experienced that with him. I wonder if he was just having a bad day or something. I remember a year ago I made an appointment with him and when I got there he had remembered my birthday and welcomed me like a friend and gave me quite the massage full of technique and loads of energy all the way to the end.

Agree. I have encountered the same issue with posting a review and I send the provider a message through the RM site, and he responds. Doesn’t matter what you say as much as there is a record of contact in the system apparently. Once that is done the review will be posted.

The author’s apparent view of the doctor’s behavior seemed to come through in the last paragraph of the article:

For the couple of guys I see, I would not want to compound an already noticeable drop in business with a reduction in revenue by those who continue to see them. I think too highly of these guys to to do that.

The incident sounds fake to me. I think it's more of someone who doesn't like Rainer and just wants to give him a bad rap. Maybe wanted sex for a massage price and didn't get it.

Agree. It is somewhat difficult to follow because I came away thinking that it was another masseur who was away and came back unexpectedly to find Rainer using his apartment without his knowledge or permission. How that happened is unexplained. But in any event it sounds like a dispute unrelated to Rainer’s services.

According to the stats in his RentMen page, he is 22 years old and has been on that site for almost four years. He has a number of RentMen reviews, including some fairly recent. A search of the forum didn’t find anything.

Why do you dislike him so much? He’s a very sweet guy. And he gives one of the best massages even if there were no extras. I’ve always found him to put 100% into the massage.
