Photos are definitely of the guy from TSMS. I think reviews here were mixed but I had a really great experience with him (probably my best from all the spas). He’s really sexy. Seems to be outcall only, though?

I have been in touch with him and he says he is able to host but in mapping him his location appears to be pretty far out in Queens, so may not be work because of the distance. Seems like a nice guy though in our communication.

  2. Interesting find. Seems like he has real fans under his prior incarnations.

Thank you! Now I remember both names.

You’re welcome! I remembered his prior names were color-related! It seems like with this name change there was also a price increase because I don’t remember him charging $180. I have noticed that some NYC providers have raised their prices recently by $10 to $15 per hour session.

  3. You can contact a reviewer as long as they have a contact method activated on their profile. I tried it and it worked for one that I wanted to inquire about.

First, access the reviewer’s profile page by going to URL with their username from their review:

    https://rentmasseur.com/username

Second, look in the Contact Me section for a contact button, most likely Email Me. If no contact method shows up in Contact Me or the Contact Me section is missing, the user doesn’t have it activated.

So I tried this and was not successful. I don‘t see a URL and username for the reviewer anywhere on the review in question. Where does that information appear?

  4. The massage culture in NYC is different, I guess? It sucks I know. It’s a good suggestion here; add the person to your block list, lecture them if needed and hoping they don’t repeat to other masseurs.

And as a client, I feel the same about some NYC masseurs tbh. I get last minute cancels and curt cold responses, more from NYC masseurs than any other city that I travel.

Agree it goes both ways. I reached out to a masseur last month, one I hadn’t met yet, asking for an appointment three days later (his ad says he books up so to schedule as far an advance as possible). I just proposed the day and asked what times he had available. He sent back a somewhat abrupt text saying he was was not available that day. Fine. I texted back asking about the following day, or the day after that, and saying I was flexible on time on both days. He responded that he might have availability and would have to check. I asked him to do so and let me know what times worked for him... and never heard back from him again. Obviously this is someone who I would never try and hire again. But is does illustrate the point @TracerMain raises.

  5. sadly rentmasseur never specifies where in NYC masseurs live. If anyone has intel on this, I’d love to hear! Thanks!

A few guys who advertise on the sites are in LIC or Astoria, among other Queens locations. The map feature can be helpful if they have shared their location information.
