At our house - we've decided to buy groceries from one place as opposed to buying produce at store A - Meat store B - canned goods store C. The logic being to not visit 3 places where xxthousand visit each week but visit 1 place where xxthousand.

I expect some industries will recover faster than others. i hope to fly to Tokyo in December. I expect to stay in a hotel before year end. I suspect I will be going to the movies at sometime. Some industries will have a steeper climb like the car business. In 2019 - nineteen million cars were manufactured globally. In 2008 when we had the auto bailout - eight million were manufactured. I doubt congress will be jumping up and down for another car bailout. Car companies are heavily leveraged - thus this sector / suppliers / employees will have a rough period.

I wonder if the virus is more contagious in a refrigerated work place? I more worry about our dependence on immigrant labor to pick crops - it appears our neighbors to the south are faring better regarding the virus. Work / housing / transportation conditions for migrant labor are not known for keeping 6 foot safe distance from each other
