I think the only thing you did wrong is stall in responding. He may have thought you were trying to avoid him by not answering within a given period. He is not married. I understand for some it’s an issue whether they see someone who is gay, straight, or bisexual. However, if the guy delivers what he promises and does it well, I don’t understand why it matters what his orientation is. This isn’t directed at anyone in particular but people have such hang ups about labels and what that means. Even, if there is strong evidence that a particular guy (be he straight, gay, or whatever) does what he does with no hang ups.
