He's in Altadena. He quoted me $150 for 90 min ($125 for outcall +$25 travel fee since I'm not in his neighborhood). But he also said "plus any tip you feel may be appropriate" and that kinda put me off because I prefer an independent MT to just set his rates based on what they would like to receive. I hadn't booked yet but might one day. 

No mention of which LA neighborhood he's in. I hire in-calls so distance factors heavily.  I like his photo and general description.

Have been curious as well. While I do enjoy the variety of K Spas this city has to offer, it'd be nice to try out a banya type of setting. My only hesitation is the steep entrance fee.

Update … while I haven’t been yet, I was getting my haircut last week and during the hair wash my (hot, 30-ish, straight) Ukrainian barber was asking another barber if they were going to go to City Spa this week. So obviously I asked if they were talking about the one on Pico. 
It is a traditional Russian spa, has apparently been around since the 80s or 90s, now owned by a middle eastern man. He said the clientele was mostly Russian and Ukrainian (which is interesting in itself), its clean and has the usual pool and plunges and a sauna. It didn’t sound like they have any actual spa services.  But they do have a cafe if you really want some borscht lol. 
It was my first time at this barber so we didnt have the kind of long standing relationship for me to ask if there were hot men walking around naked and doing the things that men sometimes do in such environments. But now I know it’s a legit place, I will give a try soon.
