Semantics and definition of a business aside, consent is absolute and I never stated otherwise.  My point was narrower - clear  upfront expectations of potential clientele may help potential clients determine if they should even approach a particular provider or move on to someone else.  Your time availability as stated in your RM profile (8am - 10pm local) is a perfect example of this.  I know before contacting you that your off time is between 10pm and 8am the next day.  However, I wouldn’t have known a photo was required or an age limit was set if I hadn’t read it here in this forum from persons that didn’t take/make the cut.  In my view, clarity saves needless exchanges that oftentimes don’t go well.  As the cliche goes, clear is kind.

I agree providers have every right to refuse service to anyone. The most successful ones, however, tend to be direct about the clients they prefer. What irks me is the lack of transparency here: an age requirement that appears and disappears, aesthetic preferences delivered with a wink. We can all get rejected on Grindr or Scruff for free. Thanks @azdr0710 . I understand your perspective but I see it differently. These guys are business people and I respect their right to charge what they can get. However, if every customer just passes with no explanation, they are left unaware of how many potential clients they lost over price. Personally, I DO tell them its "out of my budget" but I do NOT follow up with haggling nor do I even accept the occasional offer to lower the price. I thank them for answering my request and wish them good luck with the more wealthy customers...and leave it at that.
