I don’t consider myself unattractive and I’m able to find hookups without pay often enough. I like escorts because it’s transactional and convenient. That said, there are three things that are absolute dealbreakers for me. Asking for pics and/or stats. I’m the guy who’s paying, that should be enough. Not being reasonably prompt in texting when I’m trying to schedule. And being late. I can’t stand being ignored or being late. Those two are the worst and are enough for me to not give you a second chance.

More and more people to be hired are REQUIRING to send a face pic to be seen. Describing what we look like doesn't cut it like it used to.
If we looked as good as the people we're hiring, we wouldn't be hiring, so what sense does it make? I'm batting zero with the few I've had ask to send a pic of myself, and had communication go any further on their end. But, I'm seeing it so often now I feel like I'm having to stick with those that haven't tired of me quite yet whom I've already seen.

I've also experienced this often lately. Not liking the trend. Unprofessional 

I would have like to have met but other than sending me a 3 word reply with his rate, I was unable to generate any dialogue with him.  Tbh, this is my first trip to Houston and outside of 2 guys, it is like pulling teeth trying to get any replies from these guys.  The 2 I did connect with seem really cool and we set plans.

Has anyone else hired him more recently? I hope my review doesn’t discourage you from that. I would hire him again.

He’s very friendly. Even more eager to please. He will do literally anything you want, and/or let you do anything you want to him. No complaints whatsoever on that side. But I made the mistake of paying him the full fee up front. I woke up the next morning and he was gone. Kept saying he was checking on his dog and would come back, but we all know he didn’t come back. I take the black for that dumb move. I would hire him again, but with more caution regarding payment in full upfront. I think half upfront and half at the end would be smarter.

There are many escorts who can handle a multi-day hire right out of the gate.  It's what they do best.
The comments here are speaking mostly to the hourly guy who you pay to leave, not to stay for dinner.  Longer term hires are something that most here have very little experience with, so take any negativity with a grain of salt.
If he's even taking clients at the moment, I'd say that Russ is the right combo you're looking for.  
He's very smart.  Very funny.  Handsome.
