You're right that there's a definite line between inept narcissist and a person who's just momentarily oblivious. I try to give guys the benefit of the doubt... Until I don't. Like when people don't use headphones in airports, airplanes or gyms, I wait a second to see if they're just really into their set/work/etc. If they don't realize it or, worse, realize it and don't care, I tell them directly to stop.

The Ups and Downs of Airlines and Air Travel
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to mike carey's topic in The Travel Desk
Technically, The Walmart Effect is something else entirely. That's when a large company manifests itself in a smaller community, forcing out mom & pops and then controlling the local pay scale as they see fit. That said, I get what you mean. People want 'the best' and they also want it at a price they can afford. Realistically, people need to realize that the two are not always synonymous. Having what you can afford is not the American way, where so many live entirely beyond their means thanks to credit lines and plastic cards. The real problem with the airline industry came when, one, airlines started offering coast-to-coast flights for sub $350, which, two, gave people the false impression that flying was a right, not a privilege. It got the general public used to the price, while the airlines scrambled to hard push the Pareto Principle in padding their bottom line. This is one of a dozen reasons why the US Airline industry is a broken system, which will remain broken for some time to come. -
Slater hit the high points. Pay attention to everything he posted. I'll only offer one piece of advice that's served me well: You can't be everything to everyone and you don't want to be. Learn who you are as an escort and what you offer best. Also, the power of saying 'no' to people is an incredible thing. Don't be afraid to use it.

The Ups and Downs of Airlines and Air Travel

My love for QF is strong ❤️ They routinely throw people out of their lounges for dressing and acting like animals. -
The Ups and Downs of Airlines and Air Travel

QF has the good fortune to be the flag carrier in a country that needs their fleet/routes. Bottom line, people can piss and moan, but they'll go back. They always do. LIke AA, the largest commercial airline in the States, people take to social media to blow off steam, but when they have to travel again and the price/time/route is right, they'll be right back on American. I take all of this with a grain of salt. Loyalty has its perks. Most who complain the loudest are low-mid level elites at best. -
Monkeypox a new worry for gay and bi men
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to Luv2play's topic in Men's Health
There are ways to get two doses without being immunocompromised. I had my first vax in Toronto, while getting my second at a local agency who was offering them to anyone who came in. Two doses remain the most effective treatment, especially if you're in a higher risk category. -
Anyone invest in Tesla?
+ BenjaminNicholas replied to kaboom35's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
I'd invest in anything that would return. I'm a smart businessman (or, try to be) While I never took my shot with Tesla, I did invest with Apple and was also left a nice amount of their stock when a client passed away several years back. As per usual, KS gives sage advice above. He's a credit to these forums 👍 -
Yeah, when I was in Dallas, I trained weekly with a guy at Equinox. Thankfully, I did my due diligence and we clicked on my goals and how to get there. A lot of the other trainers there were next to worthless though. Pretty, but useless. If you're going to pay $250-350/hr for a trainer at a high-end gym, you really need to figure out if they're right for you. What are you doing now to keep in shape?

Anonymous reddit isn't exactly what I'd call a reliable source, but I agree that there's no such thing as 100% protection in this. I'll wait until there's published medical studies done to judge how effective this vax is. My advice for now is for everyone at risk to get vaccinated and to exercise good judgement. That and a nickle will buy you a cup of diner coffee 😄 -
Sorta, kinda, but not really. All that glitters is not gold. Many trainers get those bodies through SARMS or straight juice. That's not only cheating, but totally fucks up your endocrine system in the longrun, as well as sexual performance, acne, anger and hair loss. It's a shit deal for the gains. Trainers who train properly and treat their bodies like temples have my respect. You can easily tell by watching how they lift and how they train others to lift. Olympic lifts are only a small portion of making gains. I would never work a trainer who wasn't also proficient in kettlebells, TRX, compound movement and HIIT. It's one thing to look fit, but it's another thing to actually be fit. I want to always BE fit.

I don't really have an evening 'prime time' schedule. I work longer-term and travel gigs.
-
You know that, yes, but based on a lot of conversation here, a lot of other guys don't.
-
Correction: Hire an APPROPRIATE trainer for your goals. Like some here, don't just hire 'pretty' guys that you're attracted to. Credentials matter. Consider females as well. This is about goals and pushing past plateaus, not fucking your help.

As an aside to your training, long cardio produces slower results than HIIT. If you can do HIIT workouts or go to a studio that offers them (OrangeTheory, Barry's Bootcamp, etc), you'll see much faster progress. As for collagen, a daily scoop (20mg) of collagen peptide in tea or coffee does the trick for me. It sounds like you're on the right path 👍

Got my second dose this morning. Wasn't as difficult to find as I thought. -
And there you have it kids... A longtime, respected member here lays down the truth 👍

This. You don't need to consult a message board. You need a good doctor to guide you and prescribe the right RX. It's not about what other folks do... It about what's best for you and your sexual health.

First, a shredded body is not 15-18% bf. It's really sub 10. That's when everything pops. Shredded also means low water weight. Bottom line, a great body is made in the kitchen. If you're not willing to go that far, I'd recommend intermittent fasting. The 16:8 method personally works well for me. Cardio 5x a week. Lighter weights, max reps. HIIT training.

If you're giving love to Mrs Dash, you also better not forget about her girl Molly McButter...

Any trainer or doc worth their salt will tell you that a great/healthy body is not just made in the gym, but really in the kitchen. Self-control is not something most people have in spades.

Can confirm. It's... Unreal. Plus, I've had a quiet dislike of him since watching him ruin Hedwig on Broadway. I can't seem to wash away that memory.

I think it all depends on the guy and what his gym goals are. There are days when I really don't want to be bothered when lifting. I'm in the zone and it's a pain in the ass for me to have to stop and make conversation or even look at my phone. I have Airpods in and a playlist that doesn't require me to screw with my device. Just a set it and forget it kinda thing. Not that I haven't hooked up from a gym (or, yeah, in a gym), but it's not what I expect when I go in. My main concern is pushing past plateaus and keeping in the best shape I possibly can be. Edit: I also think there's a large subset of the younger generation that doesn't know how to flirt or easily converse on an in-person, intimate level.
