  1. I gotta say that I'm proud of you reading this. Well done, sir. Most people have zero willpower. They make excuses. They fall off the wagon, again and again. It's nice to see someone who went all the way and then made the decision to make it a permanent lifestyle choice. I have friends who went for surgery and then eventually ate through it. They're right back to where they were before. They never dealt with their mental issues with food, so the behavior continued. It's unfortunate to see. Keep on keepin' on Rob 👍
  2. This is where places like Mexico City shine. Nearly every gay bar there has a back/dark room. The States have whitewashed their gay bars to a point of being completely milquetoast.
  3. Ah, but you're assuming that people have common sense, understand proper behavior and recognize social cues. Many don't. And it's gotten worse through COVID sequestering. It only took two years for people to begin acting like total animals.
  4. This is exactly right. That we're all pearl-clutchers now is kind of funny to me. People have always been this way... We just didn't have the ability to take video at a moment's notice. We do now. People need to think about that more often.
  5. Outside of a medical practice, IV drips are mostly mumbo-jumbo pseudoscience. The John Myers Cocktail drip has been around awhile and is used in ERs and hospitals for patients with specific needs. It's now been adopted and remixed by people in the wellness industry who are looking to make a healthy buck. Most medical journals and doctors are dubious of these fly-by-nighters who say a bag of overpriced saline will change your life. https://www.houstonmethodist.org/blog/articles/2021/may/do-iv-hydration-therapy-and-iv-vitamin-therapy-really-work/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/wellness/2022/02/24/warnings-about-drip-bars/ https://www.cedars-sinai.org/blog/iv-vitamin-therapy.html
  6. Liquid IV is a powder supplement to water that's advertised to hydrate better. With 11+ grams of sugar, 11 grams of carbs and 40-50 calories, I'd advise against it if you're wanting to cut up. Water. Plain, boring water. It works. Always has. Unless you're an olympic athlete or doing some incredibly serious HIIT, there's little reason for sports drinks or something like Liquid IV. If you don't like the taste, there are tons of flavoring options that contain zero calories/sugar/carbs. Less is usually more.
  7. Bottom line, you gotta lead with with the important stuff. Make yourself crystal clear. Worse case, they don't reply. You've lost nothing. Best case, he puts his bare foot on your neck to hold you down while fucking you from behind. Go get em' tiger
  8. First time I think I've ever said this, but I'm pro-Bush.
  9. As others have said here, just be straight forward. Don't sugarcoat it. Alpha-beta play, findom, worship and verbal are the kinds of things you need to spell out for a guy. A good escort doesn't need the script, but he also probably wouldn't mind knowing where your line in the sand is. ... And if you want that line pushed way fucking forward 👍
  10. So, it's basically the fucking version of Morse Code. I like that.
  11. Directly isn't necessarily in a rude way. It's just direct. If they're not willing to let you work in, they need to know they're not the only people at the gym. I never let my stature fool me into thinking I'm going to win every fistfight. So, I try not to get to that point
  12. I wish every bottom could do this. It makes fucking a lot more intense and entirely too easy to bust a nut.
  13. You're right that there's a definite line between inept narcissist and a person who's just momentarily oblivious. I try to give guys the benefit of the doubt... Until I don't. Like when people don't use headphones in airports, airplanes or gyms, I wait a second to see if they're just really into their set/work/etc. If they don't realize it or, worse, realize it and don't care, I tell them directly to stop.
  14. Just move his towel and use the machine. The guy's an asshole. Some assholes need to be told, directly.
  15. Technically, The Walmart Effect is something else entirely. That's when a large company manifests itself in a smaller community, forcing out mom & pops and then controlling the local pay scale as they see fit. That said, I get what you mean. People want 'the best' and they also want it at a price they can afford. Realistically, people need to realize that the two are not always synonymous. Having what you can afford is not the American way, where so many live entirely beyond their means thanks to credit lines and plastic cards. The real problem with the airline industry came when, one, airlines started offering coast-to-coast flights for sub $350, which, two, gave people the false impression that flying was a right, not a privilege. It got the general public used to the price, while the airlines scrambled to hard push the Pareto Principle in padding their bottom line. This is one of a dozen reasons why the US Airline industry is a broken system, which will remain broken for some time to come.
  16. Slater hit the high points. Pay attention to everything he posted. I'll only offer one piece of advice that's served me well: You can't be everything to everyone and you don't want to be. Learn who you are as an escort and what you offer best. Also, the power of saying 'no' to people is an incredible thing. Don't be afraid to use it.
  17. My love for QF is strong ❤️ They routinely throw people out of their lounges for dressing and acting like animals.
  18. QF has the good fortune to be the flag carrier in a country that needs their fleet/routes. Bottom line, people can piss and moan, but they'll go back. They always do. LIke AA, the largest commercial airline in the States, people take to social media to blow off steam, but when they have to travel again and the price/time/route is right, they'll be right back on American. I take all of this with a grain of salt. Loyalty has its perks. Most who complain the loudest are low-mid level elites at best.
  19. There are ways to get two doses without being immunocompromised. I had my first vax in Toronto, while getting my second at a local agency who was offering them to anyone who came in. Two doses remain the most effective treatment, especially if you're in a higher risk category.
  20. I'd invest in anything that would return. I'm a smart businessman (or, try to be) While I never took my shot with Tesla, I did invest with Apple and was also left a nice amount of their stock when a client passed away several years back. As per usual, KS gives sage advice above. He's a credit to these forums 👍
  21. Yeah, when I was in Dallas, I trained weekly with a guy at Equinox. Thankfully, I did my due diligence and we clicked on my goals and how to get there. A lot of the other trainers there were next to worthless though. Pretty, but useless. If you're going to pay $250-350/hr for a trainer at a high-end gym, you really need to figure out if they're right for you. What are you doing now to keep in shape?
  22. Anonymous reddit isn't exactly what I'd call a reliable source, but I agree that there's no such thing as 100% protection in this. I'll wait until there's published medical studies done to judge how effective this vax is. My advice for now is for everyone at risk to get vaccinated and to exercise good judgement. That and a nickle will buy you a cup of diner coffee 😄
  23. Sorta, kinda, but not really. All that glitters is not gold. Many trainers get those bodies through SARMS or straight juice. That's not only cheating, but totally fucks up your endocrine system in the longrun, as well as sexual performance, acne, anger and hair loss. It's a shit deal for the gains. Trainers who train properly and treat their bodies like temples have my respect. You can easily tell by watching how they lift and how they train others to lift. Olympic lifts are only a small portion of making gains. I would never work a trainer who wasn't also proficient in kettlebells, TRX, compound movement and HIIT. It's one thing to look fit, but it's another thing to actually be fit. I want to always BE fit.
  24. I don't really have an evening 'prime time' schedule. I work longer-term and travel gigs.
